Saw this one sitting on the shelves of my local toystore, at a discount! €38,- instead of the usual 50. I'd taken it to the register before realizing what was going on. What's more, on the way out I noticed the shelf was now empty: it was the last one! I felt like the luckiest man alive right there.
I bought this for my wife for Christmas and we both enjoy it. The shared building experience is a great thing and I with Lego would do more of the "1-3 people" sets.
my daughter and I enjoyed building this set during school break. It was a good time to bond with my kids with a creative activity. It was fun and yes, they are very cute. We display them beside the window together with the LEGO Orchid Botanical set.
Great review as always! It's sad to see that you didn't mange to get to 500K subscribers this year, especially that I think that you deserve all of them so much. You always provide us with great content, which is informative, interesting and relaxing to see. I wish you all the best for the next year!
My tiny plant set should arrive today. After watching this review I really can't wait! When I ordered it Amazon had a good deal on it and I got it for €34. They are so cute and what I like about this set is that you can display the set throughout your house or room so you always will have a spot to display them.
I really appreciate seeing the back of the cacti plant and know it's a print and not a sticker. It doesn't affect me purchasing this set, but I would have been disappointed finding out about the backside afterwards. Very glad the set is stickerless.
I was super excited for this set. I really liked the succulents but I didn't like that the pots were modular, and for me this addresses that. I usually display my Lego plants on my desk at work in the warmer months and now I have an even larger plant selection to display. Definitely a great set in my eyes, especially for being $50. I might try and make terracotta pots for my succulents now just because I like the pots much more than the modular "pots"
The venus flytrap and pitcher plants are awesome to see in lego form Some of these plants would be better represented in the real life size You almost got to 500k
Wow i just finished building this set and suddenly he uploads a video about it 😯 This is actually my first Lego set and it was pretty fun to build! Now I kinda want to get more Lego sets... 💸💸
One of the coolest things about these botanical sets is how Lego implements these elements into the models. Hats, shells, etc. as plants! 😆 I did a double-take when assembling this and I saw little hairbrushes! 🤣
The multiplayer aspect is perfect for a family gathering. I did the Succulent set with my family over Christmas last year, but didn't have enough time to start the Jazz Club Quartet set this year. I may just get this for my next one, since there are a lot of potential pause points between each pot built.
I bought this on December 1 and gave 8 of the plants to various friends and family for Christmas, and kept one for myself. An excellent set and more unique than most lego sets
I can see this set being combined with the Super Mario Piraña plant set to create an Audrey II (Little shop of Horrors) MOC, might need a couple of extra pieces though….
A great review as always, but it's worth pointing out that the ladybird tile predates the Insects Collection. I believe it originated in Lego Friends were I've seen it used in numerous sets including last year's 10th anniversary Treehouse.
Pretty nice this project, just that I found that the Anthurium andraeanum flower specifications, the one from Columbia is wrong. It’s Colombia 🇨🇴 not Columbia 🫣
I'm not a fan of the Botanical Collection for the simple reason that you can buy real plants for a fraction of the price, that are arguably much more exiting to have because they're real and will actually grow. Pretty much all of the real versions of the whole botanical line - succulents, cacti, orchids - are some of the easiest plants to take care of and they can last for years. You can even get dried flowers that will look better than their Lego counterparts. The only upside is that many of the building techniques used in the Botanical Collection are really ingenious.
Looks really cool but the pots seem to big for the plants. The smaller ones get overshadowed by the dark orange or nougat color (idk what color it is) of the pot itself. But other than that, it looks like a really solid Lego set.
Hello Tiago, I just came back from a visit in Lisbon Portugal, your country is very beautiful and I saw very curious things. Edit: are we getting any new Tiago Talks episodes?
I think this is actually my least favorite botanical collection set or at least out of the larger ones. Most of the plant builds don’t really work that well for me and the pots are repetitive.
This set is a disappointment. some of them looks like the creators got only an our to come up with something. The carnivore plants should get their own set. It is a huge waste...
I loooooove botanicals, I am yet to buy the wildflower and centrepiece and now this one. I want the Japanese garden as well. Now I know why I'm broke. Edit, I forgot the insects set

truly a lego fan, autopilot buying discounted lego by instinct 😂
I bought this for my wife for Christmas and we both enjoy it. The shared building experience is a great thing and I with Lego would do more of the "1-3 people" sets.
I think the pitcher plants look great, and they even have a clear dot brick to represent the digestive liquid!
Yea idk if my memory is just tricking me but I’ve seen them in person and that looked fine to me

100000000% Tiago is the best!

I got this one for my younger sister for Christmas. She definitely liked this one alongside getting the Great Wave set
we got the same two sets!
I really appreciate seeing the back of the cacti plant and know it's a print and not a sticker. It doesn't affect me purchasing this set, but I would have been disappointed finding out about the backside afterwards. Very glad the set is stickerless.
i gifted these to both of my siblings, my sister loved this set and she loves the rest of the botanical sets.
I got myself the lego bonsai tree for chrismas and I like it. It's been long time since building legos and fun throw back to childhood.
I was super excited for this set. I really liked the succulents but I didn't like that the pots were modular, and for me this addresses that. As always, great review Tiago! I love that Lego are doing more botanical sets as they have the most creative part usage, as shown in your video!
The venus flytrap and pitcher plants are awesome to see in lego form
Some of these plants would be better represented in the real life size
You almost got to 500k
I agree, I also think they would have looked better if they had made them bigger.
This set also looks great together with the Mario Piranha plant!
Best wishes for 2024, your sure to reach half a million subscribers and beyond.
80% pots 20% plants
The pots was so technical 😅
Wow i just finished building this set and suddenly he uploads a video about it 😯
This is actually my first Lego set and it was pretty fun to build! Now I kinda want to get more Lego sets... 💸💸
It's funny how as soon as I finished assembling this set I open TH-cam and find this video

Adding these among my real plants. It adds a new element. Also exercises my brain..Love your videos..
Happy New Year Tiago. Thanks for your beautiful videos. I'm waiting for the new videos of 2024.
The parts reused here are very clever. It really shows the creative side of Lego.
I was waiting for this review for a while
I’m not so much of a plant fan myself but these are quite cool, I love your vids and I see you as a big inspiration and I wanna be like you 🎉
This is amazing set to expand your own Botanical Garden!
Perfect as a gift for mother ❤ or someone who has problem with watering 😅
2:38 can't get past using broom pieces from old set
3:02 it uses actual botanic pieces, it feels boring, compared to the ingenious pieces used so far
I bought this on December 1 and gave 8 of the plants to various friends and family for Christmas, and kept one for myself. An excellent set and more unique than most lego sets
Happy new year and thanks for this last review of the year.
I think it could have improved the set to have different types of pots
I got them and they are so adorable! I have a vase with the two Lego bouquets and they stand next to it. They are nice together.
Pretty nice set, and great price for sure! Might get it for myself and place the plants around my apartment
I subbed to get you to 500k before the end of 2023
I can see this set being combined with the Super Mario Piraña plant set to create an Audrey II (Little shop of Horrors) MOC, might need a couple of extra pieces though….
Just made the first set. Whew…I got annoyed and it got tedious if u pushed too hard and it will fall apart. Overall cute collection !
i built this last night, i was amazed, good build looks great
This is so cute!
Very cool set
I have all the botanical sets but so far have only built the tranquil garden. These plants are very cute
The pitcher plant is my favorite of the second group
Tiago is 100% the best Lego critic on the internet. ❤
#roadto500K
Is the butterfly element clever piece usage?
A great review as always, but it's worth pointing out that the ladybird tile predates the Insects Collection. I believe it originated in Lego Friends were I've seen it used in numerous sets including last year's 10th anniversary Treehouse.
Different print!
@@TiagoCatarino ah! Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to dig mine out for comparison.
Thay look cute awesome review
With that price I might buy it for a friend, looks really nice! Great video, as always!
Pretty nice this project, just that I found that the Anthurium andraeanum flower specifications, the one from Columbia is wrong. It’s Colombia 🇨🇴 not Columbia 🫣
What’s going on with the moulding marks on bricks at the moment! Really starting to be noticeable
We appreciate how well you've articulated your own insights. You'll always have our support.
At first it was the big plants in pots but now the small ones! These make a perfect display on a desk
So close from the 500K subs for 2023. Guess you gotta get 1M for 2024 then!
I wish they could come in individual or smaller pack, but its really worth it
I'm not a fan of the Botanical Collection for the simple reason that you can buy real plants for a fraction of the price, that are arguably much more exiting to have because they're real and will actually grow. Hi Tiago I bet it's gonna be a banger
As an aussie the price is crazy
Amazing❤❤
Can u review the Lego rose bouquet 🌹❤️
Just bought these last night. I work at the Lego store in virginia beach
They are supper detailed. Botanical sets are always awesome
"supper detailed" ?! Are you sure you watched the video about this lego set?
I built this set with a few friends and it was really nice. Pretty sad that I don't have a shelf in my room to display it though.
ganda video continua o bom trabalho

Lego plants:❌️
Plants vs zombis:✅️
i want this but man i cant find it and i dont have space lol idk man
Not a fan of the botanical line either but i do like the clever part usage

*It is a comb not an airbrush*
I think he said hairbrush but with a dropped ‘h’ due to his accent
some small lego sets have great building techinques, the boba fett mech, for instances, has great ones in its legs and feet
Hello Tiago, I just came back from a visit in Lisbon Portugal, your country is very beautiful and I saw very curious things.
Edit: are we getting any new Tiago Talks episodes?
the lego boba fett mech also has great building thecniques on its legs and feet
He needs just 6000 more subscribers guys! We could totally make that happen in 48 hours. Share with any Lego nuts you know!
Love the $25AUD "Australia Tax" TLG has decided to add to this baby compared to the USD price
I think this is actually my least favorite botanical collection set or at least out of the larger ones. Most of the plant builds don’t really work that well for me and the pots are repetitive.
This set is so accurate! All plants in this set handle dust very well.
To be fair the parts used are pretty tiny decreasing the value one gets for 50€...
More visible injection marks than I care for honestly.
It was between this and the orchid that i had to choose for my girlfriend but i went for the orchid
Why plants?Why?
Because plants are literally so awesome
AND THE FAKE PLAAAAAAASTIC TREEES
This set is a disappointment. some of them looks like the creators got only an our to come up with something. The carnivore plants should get their own set. It is a huge waste...

I loooooove botanicals, I am yet to buy the wildflower and centrepiece and now this one. I want the Japanese garden as well. Now I know why I'm broke. Edit, I forgot the insects set
its cute, but def not as cute as the succulents
You buy alot of botanical sets for not liking them
why is lego expensive
Love the video ❤ if yall like bricks content, come give us a chance 😊
44th comment❤❤
It's easier to have real plants than to throw money for this plastic crap
Another pretty disappointing set!!
