he sounds like a person with anxious-avoidant attachment style. they are very tricky because they crave a sense of security and consistency, but at the same time need to feel like they have their own area of life that cannot be intruded upon. basically anxious-avoidants are clingy and distant at the same, you have to walk a very tight rope of making them feel loved but not smothered, making them feel spaced but alone or abandoned. getting too close too soon is pretty much the WORST thing you can do with an anxious-avoidant. i don't think he's falling out of love per say, i think he feels emotionally off-put by what he perceives to be an intrusion of his private space. anxious-avoidant men are often times self-reliant, reserved, and perfectionist/meticulous, so they get irritated easily by little things. I think you guys just need a bit more room from each other is all.

Been in this scenario many times. Moving in with a partner too soon is always very risky. He maybe seems to have an avoidant attachment , I would really recommend putting some space between you two. Live somewhere else for a while and really focus on seeing friends and doing the things you love. Some ppl really need space and don’t even know it so they start becoming weird. It’s hard to not do this when ur scared, but the more you pour into fixing things right now , the more he may run. It’s fucked up but when it comes to avoidant personalities you just have to play the game and go about it strategically.

Although, I haven't lived with him, I relate so much. Seeing this guy for 6 months and HE asked me out after meeting as friends. Now, he hasn't responded in days, I have waited all summer for him to feel better from a surgery. The descent into being seemingly uninterested but no clear explanation is HARD. Praying for youu 🙏

I hope it goes well with your boyfriend, if the relationship does end, you have my commiserations. You will find another guy, don't rush in, make sure he is sound and sensible first.
