Her fan club President was stealing from Selena and it ended with her shooting Selena in 1995 and she passed away. The astrodome was her last televised concert! I have a picture of the old scoreboard going off. Miss the old Dome. Good times. Baseball games, Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, and Monster Jam. Never got to catch an Oilers game.
Watched it being built from our upstairs windows (w/binoculars). We rode bikes to the rear of Astroworld a few years later. "Nothing is like it used to be and never will be again."
