    Link to our merchandise. Please feel free to have a look. We won't receive any profit, Helens son will. He does our design work and is currently working doing an apprenticeship for low wages. We just want to help him if we can!🙂

Said he got the drone second hand and the GoPro second hand and he wanted something new out of his pension pot. We're in Kidderminster now with the kids but great to know you live in Salisbury. Lovely Watchet. We have only been there once, and that was a flying visit. We visited Linton & Lynmouth with Samantha's Sister, doing some house hunting for the Sister-in-law and we decided to do some quick stop offs on the way home, Watchet was one of those places. We remember the harbour and the immediate area from that visit, but we didn't go away from there. It was quite late of an evening when we got there, and only the pubs were open, and the toilets, which were much needed :-) Great video !

    What a gem of a seaside town. Interesting history and art, that’s another one to add to the list. Could you have a guess at how much money you allow per day when you’re out and about? It’s a piece of string question so no worries if it’s too complicated to answer. I would love to do what you do either full or part time and trying to work towards it (slowly!). Nookie was very funny when he hadn’t seen you for a few minutes! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and lots of travels in 2022. X

    • @roaminginraymond
      @roaminginraymond  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Louise, it's a very lovely place, we really liked it there. That's a hard question as we budgeted for £800 a month max to live on minus the vehicle insurance and tax. But we went over that in Scotland with only three nights on a site, but then spent less with our month in Wales and did 5 nights on sites. Plus we have Nook to feed and I have the old coeliac thing going on and gluten free food is much more expensive most of the time. But £800 is what we budget at. We tend to spend on the credit card to track it and then pay the bill each month so we don't get into debt. Hope that's of some help lol.

      @louisesymonds9963 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@roaminginraymond Thank you so much for such a thorough and helpful reply. That gives me a good idea of what to aim for. I would fall a bit short of that, but I wouldn’t have that awful expense of gluten free like you and it would be a smaller van. Much appreciated. X

      When we sold most of the stuff from my house and Karl's house, we banked the money, and then we bought the house in Kidderminster to rent out to my son and his girlfriend, and also my daughter until she could get a new job and learn to stand on her own two feet a bit. It helps them out too as they get a much bigger property than they could afford otherwise on basic wages. It was bought mortgage free so we can live on what we get. It's not enough to cover our living costs but with the savings too we manage OK. Plus the house gives us a base to park up on when we come back to visit family.

      We earn about 10-15 quid a week lol. But we lost out on nearly all the Scotland videos as I couldn't verify my ID, so they turned the monetisation off. My driving licence hadn't turned up with the kids address on, and it didn't arrive until after we got back from Scotland after I phoned the Dvla asking where it was. So no verification, no monetisation. We do only have ads at the beginning though as it's not why we started the channel, but always nice to earn a bit of pocket money.
