I like Robin Hoods Bay.......especially during the quieter months when all the kiddiewinks are at school. Perhaps talking to cows, sheep etc., when passing by is a Lancashire idiosyncrasy, because I do that. Though none have ever talked back to me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Hope that your knees are now all healed. Maybe it's not just our bums that require some padding when cycling on rough tracks 🤔😉

Hi Sue I don't know how I missed this notification, came to check if you had anything new and found it ! I LOVED Robin Hoods Bay . The place where you are brunch near the sea was stunning . The windy streets are beautiful and it looked so busy that day but I can understand why, it's gorgeous with the unique little shops like the higgeldy pig shop and the dinosaur museum . Shame the pub was closed but nice that you had a beautiful conversation with the cows. Sue keep out of the heat ! 🤭 loved your camp spot with your bike ready to go ( hope the knees have recovered after the fall) and the beautiful views. Shame about your glasses and that was hilarious that you had to pretend to go to the toilet 😄 Brilliant sunrise and sunset footage. Think this was my favourite of yours. Loved it ~ Anna 👍💕

What a perfect spot for a sandwich and a view. Some great houses. Robin Hoods bay looks really nice. Think we’d like it even more when a bit quieter. What an incredible cross country walk that would be. Don’t think pubs can get the staff at the moment. Nice chill in the van with those views. What’s not to love. The brave thing is after a day like that you went near fire! I'd like to visit the UK one day, my family lived in the same house for 800 years in the York area. It'd be awesome to go see it sometime.

Nothing worse than sitting on your glasses 👓 ! So brave filming in Aldi, I haven’t got the confidence to film inside anywhere as yet ☺️ It’s a pretty part of our lovely country, I like all the little passages, but not sure my knees would like the steps 😂 Not sure about unisex loos, but we use our own facilities since covid. They did look nice though and liked the stone walling in the pot wash area 😎 Thanks, Em💛

You have managed to check out Whitby Aldi before us, we’ve drove past it a few times…the one in Scarborough is terrible but the Whitby one is huge and looks fab..any way not here to talk about supermarkets but this amazing video we enjoyed from start to finish! That talking cow scene was so up my street had be smiling from ear to ear! Your shout out to your lovely Bryan was heart wrenching but sooo nice and I’m sure he is watching over you on all your travels! You are such a lovely strong lady we adore and super excited for more of your travels…. Thank you very much it’s lovely to hear from locals that I did a place justice. I’ve saved Whitby & Scarborough areas for much quieter times of the year when I can really see them without the crowds of the summer holidays. I had no idea cows could talk, is it just Yorkshire cows then?? It always seems the most natural thing to me to raise a glass (or mug) to Bri it just happens all the time without thinking ❤️. PS. I wouldn’t dare re-visit without telling you first I promise! 😄👍🏻
Oooo the new ALDI in whitby, been driving past that for almost a year and always wanted to pop in. An ALDI is our very first port of call on all of our long or short vacations. No matter in the UK or Europe i get very excited at the wide aisles and reductions! This video smashed it. Really thought we might come bounding through your VT at any second as have been videoing in RHB extensively over the last two months. Checked the cloud, we weren’t there, when you were. Ships in the night. Brian would be proud, could feel him with you every step of this lovely venture. Excited to see where you go next xx

Hi Phil RHB really is beautiful and well worth a visit. My bike is foldable, so when folded I put it in a bag I managed to source for it and it fits on my passenger seat so it’s out of the way of the hab/sleeping area. It works well for me without the need for a bike rack which I didn’t really want on the tailgate. 😊

We’re really enjoying your trips and this was a good second day (apart from still having dodgy knees and broken glasses) 😨😨😨 Sue says can you put a warning up when you’re about to drink wine as she’s trying to abstain til Xmas😃. Hi Debbie that sounds like a great plan. Loads of places are dog friendly as lots of dogs are taken camping. If unsure just double check with any sites beforehand but most seem to allow dogs which have to be kept on leads on campsites (except for in the dog walking areas obv). 😊👍🏻
Great video as always. Just wondering, where in the van do you store your bike? I have the same van as yours and I'm struggling to find a place to put my foldable ebike. I don't want a bike rack and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving the bike outside.
Thanks Julia! I had the same problem because I didn’t want a bike rack either. I can either travel with it secured with bungees to the table rail in the hab area or fold it up and put it in a carry bag o managed to find and lift it up into the passenger seat. It’s heavy but I manage and the cover protects my seat. I’ve done both. I hope that helps a bit.
I was going to mention in the last video if you saw the person fall over the rocks 🪨 . You noticed. It was funny in the original video without noticing. 🤣 xx
Actually I didn’t notice at the time I was just filming on the beach. Somebody commented in the last video about it and then I saw it. He was fine though because in another edited out section later he was walking around fine hehe 😄😅
I love the Yorkshire coast...a part of the country I often visit. Not been to Robin Hood's Bay for many years though. I think I need to remedy this. Stunning view for a lazy day and a read and to nod off to. Cheers 😊

Another great video Sue…….Robin Hoods Bay is lovely. It’s been too busy when we’ve been on that coast recently…..it’s often a struggle even to park in the height of summer. So it’s good to see it through the channel xx

Nothing worse than sitting on your glasses 👓 ! So brave filming in Aldi, I haven’t got the confidence to film inside anywhere as yet ☺️ It’s a pretty part of our lovely country, I like all the little passages, but not sure my knees would like the steps 😂 Not sure about unisex loos, but we use our own facilities since covid. They did look nice though and liked the stone walling in the pot wash area 😎 Thanks, Em💛

I stayed ar Hooks house farm campsite two weeks ago, loved it . Very few of the pubs open on a monday or Tuesday for some reason

Thank you very much it’s lovely to hear from locals that I did a place justice. I’ve saved Whitby & Scarborough areas for much quieter times of the year when I can really see them without the crowds of the summer holidays. I had no idea cows could talk, is it just Yorkshire cows then?? It always seems the most natural thing to me to raise a glass (or mug) to Bri it just happens all the time without thinking ❤️. PS. I wouldn’t dare re-visit without telling you first I promise! 😄👍🏻
Oooo the new ALDI in whitby, been driving past that for almost a year and always wanted to pop in. An ALDI is our very first port of call on all of our long or short vacations. No matter in the UK or Europe i get very excited at the wide aisles and reductions! This video smashed it. Really thought we might come bounding through your VT at any second as have been videoing in RHB extensively over the last two months. Checked the cloud, we weren’t there, when you were. Ships in the night. Brian would be proud, could feel him with you every step of this lovely venture. Excited to see where you go next xx

Hi Phil RHB really is beautiful and well worth a visit. My bike is foldable, so when folded I put it in a bag I managed to source for it and it fits on my passenger seat so it’s out of the way of the hab/sleeping area. It works well for me without the need for a bike rack which I didn’t really want on the tailgate. 😊

Hi Debbie that sounds like a great plan. Loads of places are dog friendly as lots of dogs are taken camping. If unsure just double check with any sites beforehand but most seem to allow dogs which have to be kept on leads on campsites (except for in the dog walking areas obv). 😊👍🏻

Great video as always. Just wondering, where in the van do you store your bike? I have the same van as yours and I'm struggling to find a place to put my foldable ebike. I don't want a bike rack and I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving the bike outside.
Thanks Julia! I had the same problem because I didn’t want a bike rack either. I can either travel with it secured with bungees to the table rail in the hab area or fold it up and put it in a carry bag o managed to find and lift it up into the passenger seat. It’s heavy but I manage and the cover protects my seat. I’ve done both. I hope that helps a bit.
