As soon as I heard from @JJColb that Vie de Chateau Intense was being pulled from the Nicolaï Parfumeur Createur portfolio I remembered I had put it on "The List" two years ago when I smelled it from the Nicolaï Discovery Set. Now I really had to get it. Got two other samples as well: Violette In Love and Poudre de Musc. Today we're taking a look at all three.

Thanks so much for the shout out my friend! 🙏
Not at all! Keep doing the good work🫡
Poudre de Musc will get more vanillic in the drydown. Tons of salicilates as well and somewhat aldehydic. Great on Summer evenings indeed.
Love VdC and was lucky to grab one before it’s gone. That fresh/ camphor note must be the pine and I love that the grapefruit does not smell “ sweaty” like in Aqua Allegoria Pamplelune (one of the best Allegorias regardless). I think that familiarity of some of the Nicolai fragrances may come from the Guerlain genome as PdN is after all a descendant of the Guerlain family.
You are completely right! And i need myself some Pamplelune, can you believe I don’t own that?
@@MemoryFlo you should rectify that tout suite! 😉
@@glenisor definitely!
