This is by far the best star quilt tutorial I have watched. Your instructions are so clear and concise. The step-by-step instructions make it easy to follow and understand. Your teaching method is phenomenal. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom.
Thanks for showing us your talent! I love the flip up of the corner to adapt to limited mat space! I also appreciate that you lay out your stacks in order, right in front of you, to help track assembly. I applaud your ability to iron, fold and cut the yard of fabric in layers that produce even strips. I am working on 3 x 3 stars. I am just finishing up my 4th and 5th and continuing to make the same mistakes. The background sounds just assured me I was watching someone who ACTUALLY makes Native American Star Blankets, not a professional video maker, who just edits out the hard parts!

Learned alot here with tutorial, but was wondering if you wash your fabric before making the quilt?
I 77 been washing my fabric the minute it comes in the door since I was 8. Not EVER had any problems.
Do you prewash the fabric before you sewing?
How do you determine the size of your quilt? How do you determine the size of the diamonds?

Shut the television it’s distracting.
I was so interested in your presentation but found it disturbing to hear your TV playing and something like a fan running in the background.
Nice tutorial except the tv and iPad with music.
too much noise !!
Need to turn off tv
