Tip about lemon water - fill an ice tray with squeezed lemon juice, store in freezer and every morning put one lemon juice ice cube into your water - no need to worry about squeezing lemon every morning
I love this! I always tell people who ask me how I created mine that I focused on 3 things: *body, mind, spirit* . What do YOU need in each category to not just set yourself up for a great day, but also plant seeds for where you want to be 1, 3, 5, 10 years from now? (Body = self-care, skin-care, exercise, etc. Mind = mindset work, learning new skills, reading, etc. Spirit = meditation, gratitude, breathing, spiritual practices, etc.)
I work out pretty much every single morning and its LIFE CHANGING! I completely believe your morning routine can DETERMINE how productive your day will be. I have always been an early bird but in 2020 I started to wake up at 4AM and it has revolutionized the type of work I am able to produce. I HIGHLY suggest you make it a priority to wake up early. Just try it for 2 weeks...I promise you will come to love the results!💕

Because of that letter, he asked me on a second date and a third --- well, it led to meeting his parents. Fast forward a few weeks and this one letter led to a proposal. We were married for 32 years before he passed away due to kidney failure and diabetes. Fortunately, we had a son and a daughter whom I can now enjoy in spite of being without him. So, when we say, "The pen is mightier than the sword". . . this was a mighty pen. And what a life changer!

Had to pause the video at 3 minutes to say that I do the gratefulness reflection before I go to bed instead! Makes me happy for the things I finished and the people I saw and gives me so much relaxation in going to bed. So instead of a morning routine, it's part of my evening routine. (now back to the vid!)
It took me a long time to become more of a morning person, but now that I am I love it. It feels so much better starting my day in a mindful, self-aware state. I love journaling, reading, and working out first thing in the morning! I tend to plan my day out the night before so I’m not thinking of a million things before going to sleep. love all of your ideas!

How long is your morning routine usually? I try to get up, drink a glass of water, walk on the treadmill at least 15 minutes (I do a more significant workout later) then I utilize Rachel Hollis's Start Today Journal for gratitude, intentional goal setting and review daily. Then I plan my day and go get ready! Great tips!
Hey Amy ! In the morning, I love petting my dog also, like laying on the ground and play with him. I also like to clean my Kitchen so that everything is Perfect when I have to leave for work
I LOVE this! Maybe because I’ve been incorporating some of these things into my life already. I’m obsessed with notebooks and writing things down all of the sudden! I started learning Spanish in January! I have really limited social media for the last 8 months or so. I notice it is not productive for me, it’s like a deep mud hole that I sink into and find it hard to crawl out of. When I cut it out of my mornings, my days began to start off so much better!! I rarely check it anymore and I have so much more peace that way 😌. Again, love this video, it was so refreshing to see some new suggestions. Can’t wait to start applying them! 😊

Waking up early is such a life hack! It may stink for the first week but just try waking up early for 2 weeks... you’ll love the results and the amount of productivity you can accomplish💕

Normally I'm writing in my diary with some music on, and then make a small list of stuff I really want to get done. And then with some swingy dance music a shower to get all the energy going! I pray in the morning as my first conscious thought. Then, ideally, I do my exercise video and my shower. My shower includes skin care of putting on lotion due to my dry skin. Once I take care of my inside and outside, then the house comes next (dishes, clutter, and laundry). If you don't know what to write, write a memory about your first date with your spouse, your first Christmas together, special days with aunts, uncles or grandparents. The biggest excuse is " no one wants to read my stories". Well, they will the day after you're gone. So, start writing today.
What are your thoughts about driving straight to the beach soon as you finish working out in the morning (5AM or so) to enjoy the wild life a little bit, get a chance to be outside at the sunrise and maybe even swimming for a while
I am 71 with A-Fib. I wear a watch that tracks everything. I synch w my phone, then write them down (steps, O2 & BP while sleeping, hi & low BP for previous day, etc. etc.) in my planner. Then I have coffee & walk around inside, then wash my face.
When I first read '20 things...' I thought "isn't that too many things?" but I decided to watch the whole video and must admit that they are all great ideas! Still, I don't think I can manage all these things in the morning I think some can be implemented but some can be done later on in the day!

Phone alarm at 9am (& 9pm) means take your vitamins & heart meds.
