    but if the voltage source is 9 it doesnt match with the given ans with book. The ans is 9 but if i do according to your method v is 7.5

      I think the answer in book is wrong, also the question in the book is a bit different than the one given in this video, the battery is 18V and the current source is 3A, but by doing the calculations Vth = 36V and Rth = 3 ohm which gives I = 9A

    Where is the problem comes from when you start first finding the equivalent Rth? Because I used an approach like the way they did in that example before this practice problem!

    Why we consider Va only Vth, Vth should be in between terminals a and b so why only a??

    Do we have to look from left side and ignore right side circuit while calculating Rth if load resistor is in middle of circuit with circuits on both side..??
