  • Well at this point we been flying, making sure all the screws and bolts are tight . Seats are in and dashboard is in as well as the stereo system. I made custom pods for corner speakers. I’ll show you those on the next video. We have the car running now perfect and the car is wrapped hunter green black..
    Thanks to a
Art city signs out of Oshkosh, Wisconsin for showing us how to wrap and coming through to give us a hand .
Stay tuned for more videos of the car running in the shakedown. Thanks again for your support. Don’t forget to give us a thumbs up and subscribe .

Actually the swap was easy getting the mounts and swap kit fromS&P as well as there radiator and getting the downpipe and exhaust from Tectonics,
But getting the clutch to work on a good hydraulic system and making sure your pedals have no movement and steering is challenging. Outside of that S&P has everything for a easy swap as well as axles that fit right in.
BC racing has the best suspension for this swap..

Really beautiful colour! Just curious what was the hardest part of the swap? Dealing with the excess weight on the suspension/chassis or was it the fabrication/getting stuff to fit right like the brackets, Cvs, engine mounts, etc.. I have a Mk1 myself and I just can’t make up my mind between a FSI 20V build or an R32
