Project Necromancer is Palpatine’s own secret cloning project for himself which he would later use in case he dies and have his spirit transferred to a clone of his which explains why he returned in The Rise of Skywalker

While heavily implied, it has NOT been explicitly stated that Project Necromancer is the project responsible for cloning Palpatine.
Legends Background: In 10 ABY (six years after ROTJ), Darth Sidious used his Essence Transfer ability to transfer his soul into a cloned body. Despite Luke being the reason he died, he still desired to offer Luke a chance to become his new apprentice. Luke decided to accept, if only to use the dark side against Sidious. Sidious died due to his clone body being unable to sustain the overwhelmingly powerful spirit of Darth Sidious (he also attempted to take over the body of the not-yet-born infant Anakin Solo, but was stopped). He tried again a year later in a secret clone body, but failed yet again and died permanently.
The Disney version of things similar (cloned bodies that can't sustain his spirit), but tries to expand on the science explanation of the Force.

You're right, the music in this season is really good! I loved this episode, it was really cool to see Crosshair with Omega and it's also interesting to see his struggle, since he did so much bad while working to the Empire and now he feels he doesn't really deserve to get out. He thinks he should be left there and forgotten, but Omega still wants to save him and that's also very interesting, because if you go back to season episode 8 (I think) there's a particular moment where Crosshair order the Stormtroopers to aim at Omega specifically, but, despite that, she still shows him so much compassion. Great reaction, Emme! It was great to see all the love you have for Poopatine lmao.

I like that no matter the Star Wars continuity, Mount Tantiss is key to the Empire’s cloning program and Dark Sider uses that for their own galaxy-conquering ends.
In the show it’s Palpatine laying the groundwork for his resurrection. In the original Thrawn books it was Joruus C’Baoth, the insane clone of a Jedi that Thrawn had defeated, taking the base and using its equipment to grow a clone of Luke that could become his apprentice should Luke refuse

i think definitely all of them, they refer to Boba as alpha, so i think he and Omega were the first and last "control" clones back at the beginning of the process.

Crosshair is too tall for the armour and he's a clone, stormtroopers are human recruits so they would've been able to tell

Project Necromancer -that's the explanation for the ridiculous Rise of Skywalker and "Somehow Palpatine returned." It's still absurd and should never have happened, but at least this time we're getting some real explanations.
Omega, as a unique clone, has something crucial for this project to succeed.
