    Coconut oil on leather is not a great idea. There is only one food substance that does not go rancid and it’s not a coconut. Red Wing natural boot oil is a much better choice. Back in the day, my Dr Martens always ended up feeling mushy, cracking, and then failing and it was because of that conditioner you are using. A very light coat of Red Wing conditioner once every 2-3 months is plenty good for a casual shoe, especially in warm, humid months.

      @@Graysonemory No problem dude. A lot of the boot products look great for a while but as they build up things start going bad. I have a pair of Iron Rangers that are 16 years old. I have had them resoled 4 or 5 times because I wear them every day and they look like a million bucks. All I have done is cleaned them with saddle soap a time or 2 every year and wiped a little red wing oil on a few times a year.
