Thank you, I've seen about 4 videos on these lights so far, and yours is the first to even mention that the bulb comes on automatically when the power goes out!
Thank you for explaining thoroughly how these bulbs work. Yours was the only video that showed how these bulbs are charged. Had no idea they came on automatically during power loss. This is exactly what i need living on the gulf coast of Louisiana. Will purchase for my elderly parents and family members. Thank you for an excellent video

To confirm, to charge it, you need to screw into an actually lamp and have it turned on? It cannot be screwed in and still charge?
Great video… great information… I use battery operated LEDs .. our power normally stays out for 7 hours if we are lucky, 15-48 hours on a bad outages… went out last night for 9 hours
Man, I cannot get mine to work. It really does not make sense either. One would have to leave the light on all the time to use the auto light feature. But even then, mine does not light when the power is turned off.
Are you charging it first ? I think you have to leave it in a plugged in lamp for a good 8 hours for it to be fully charged. If that still doesn't work, sounds like it might be a defective one? Maybe return it and get a different one and try that.
Did hear a review say you needed 2 things on same circuit. So plug another thing into outlet and lamp with bulb as well then pop circuit. It should work. Has something to do with closed circuit
Are there other colors other than the cool white day time lights? For example, is there an incandescent light choice? I just don’t like the bright white color because it hurts my eyes.
So will it work without the base? I have a lamp that I can’t plug in because it’s in the middle of the floor. If I screw the bulb into the lamp, will it work?
When light goes it gives 3 watts luminous instead of 10 watts in order to get more backup time. This bulb does not work on the bulb holder which runs on UPS

Does the bulb charge in the lamp socket if the lamp itself is not on? Or do you have to turn it on to charge it? Thanks for a great, concise video.
Yes it charges in a lamp socket without the lamp even on- hope that helped!
@KGSimpleReviews no it doesn't. It only charges when turned on. When is off it only retains the charge.

Turns out it worked fine. It needed to measure the resistance of the line during a power outage to work.
