I’m assuming that this light bulb works as a regular normal light bulb. If I turn ON the switch in the wall then this light bulb will turn ON. Am I correct? So in a real power outage I need to turn into the ON position the switch in the wall for this light bulb to turn ON. Am I correct? Thanks

I bought one to test, i have vikend house on mountain side and i bringed with me when i went there for 1 monthhe electricity went out 5 times for 6 to 7 hours due to strong storms. normally, you screw the bulb into the socket like a normal bulb, and you use it like a regular bulb when the power goes out, if the light is turned on the switch light will automatically turn on, and it can shine for 3 hours or even longer, only the light will decrease a lot. you can also unscrew it and screw it on the adapter that you get with it has a small button for turning it on and off and you can use it as a flashlight "panic light".
