    it looks like he and his guitar are having a conversation, and he can't help but agree with it.

      i think you unintentionally just broke down the writing process of acoustic music.
      whenever i come up with a melody or a riff that I think is "correct," i start to nod my head like andy does.
      it's like...part of your brain recognizes that what you are playing is "right" and then you start to have a "yes that is correct" response.

    like how the hell can you dislike this? This is not scene, this is not pretentious, he's not a sell-out, this is just a talented guy playing his instrument. Maybe acoustic music isn't your cup of tea, but for heaven's sake respect the shitload of effort and work he's put into practicing so that he's become able to play this kind of stuff so fluently and effortlessly.

      Hey man this is a song that you can get to play in 3 weeks much. Is not that the piece is hard, because difficulty has nothing to do with complexity, everything is based on the way you study. You dont have to study a lot, but you have to use your brain a lot to feel that micro progress in your work. Blessings from Costa Rica.

  • @KayBox3053
    @KayBox3053 11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    My thought is, that he is conveying a dearly held memory. You learn the chords, how to play the insrtument, then the accents he portrays are the high points of the memory. It is more than skill, he is conveying something near and dear to his heart, which only a skilled artist can portray. Take it and apply it to your memories... but keep in mind this is something extremely personal portrayed by an incredible musician.

    Too much talent for one man, it is amazing he hasn't exploded from too much potential energy. Whilst watching this video I was shattered into a million pieces from over-exposure to PURE AWESOMENESS! :)

    I feel like this song and "Drifting" are his best works. They are absolutely beautiful. I feel like this song speaks to my anxiety (brain going a mile a minute) with the higher notes hinting at the real love and feelings inside. And then back to nervousness. lol

    Once I ran across Andy and listened to just one song, I had a new addiction. Just fantastic! The first song of his I heard was Drifting which is an original song of his and the first song he ever wrote. Don't quote me 100% on this but I believe he was 17, or perhaps 19 years old. Anyway, just soulful joy to listen to and equally fun to watch him play. Just wonderful.
