- One of my reading goals for the past year was to read the first 102 issues of Fantastic Four, a classic run by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. This is a reflection or retrospective video of these issues.

3.40 The Watcher / meddler. Oh you mean Dr. Who....[ dodges brick...]
The "Meddler" is actually my favorite Marvel superhero. And yes, he is a hero precisely because he meddles! I have a complete run of What If to this day, even though Uatu isn't in the newest (not very good) issues that are just a miniseries. But yeah, so many awesome characters debuted in Fantastic Four. I haven't read all those early issues but I have a handful of them, including The Watcher's first appearance.
It kinda hurts...my childhood is "Retro"...
Don't forget the 6 annuals. I call them "The Kirby108"!
Indeed! Although Doom doesn't quite meet his 'doom' in Annual #2, it's still a great story nonetheless! Thanks for watching!
I have only a handful of Kirby108 originals so my collection relies on a combo of Masterworks and Essential volumes!
I enjoy it 💯👍
Thanks for watching! I hope you get to read and enjoy some of the issues!
Great episode! Probably my favorite thus far...but where's the Blackhawk reference?
Curses! I knew I missed something!
FF and Howling commando series were favs...movie representations of Nick Fury kinda left me..meh.
I found Sgt. Fury a bit hokey compared to DC's Sgt. Rock, or other DC War titles. I would like to see a throwback espionage Nick Fury TV series. I didn't hate Secret Invasion, it just could have been a lot better. Thanks for watching!
@@raph-retro-comics Kinda miss the New York attirude tho. Decent video series though.
