Excellent effort guys! awesome ride! I was there, mainly at the back... I saw the carnage the terrain caused- sealant and bottles everywhere, and not to mention riders with mechanicals. Chapeau!
Cycling not always skittles and beer LC. Course looked like a tire shredder. What tires did the top finishers use, did you notice? Good effort 🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️🚴♂️ get it next time.
@@bbikerlawrence I do respect much of your work, but in the vid I got the impression, that you didn't prepare very well. Obviously the truth might be a very different one, but Starting a 5h event with over 400watts over how many minutes? Even if you had a FTP of 450??!! that would be impossible to fuel. Cornering, tire choice & pressure? Inflating a tubeless tire after a puncture with a CO2? No pump?
Pretty much every time I;ve ridden with someone on tubeless, I;ve ended up providing both a frame pump and inner tube, and they've ended up covered in pointless slime...
Boards of Canada - nailed it
Hugely impressed with your attitude Lawrence and after all, there is always next year!
Bad luck but you took it like a champ, mate. I love the commentary on the race too, very engaging :)
Great stuff, sublime editing
woof, that was some chunky chunky gravel. sorry to see you flatted out.
Great video, really enjoyed watching, well put together
That ride was a tire hungry beast by the look of it.
I designed the course - I think/hope you liked it - come back and do Raiders and get the tyres dialled in.
thank you for the video Lawrence
good luck on your next race. don't forget your frame pump, tubes, maybe try wider tires.
That looked brutal
I ride tubeless on my road bike and carry C02, pump and a spare tube, touch wood not had to use the tube

Good to see you mate.
Dude these are inspirational; always
Super impressed by your pronounciation of Gralloch 😆
What tyres you running to have so many issues .?
My chop felt choppier than it looked. Entirely intentional 😘
Loved that race
Great clip with Connor Swift Lawrence, youll be ready next time if you take your pump.
I always carry a tube even when I’m riding tubeless.
love the voiceover
At 6:27 ‘stop buying cheap bottles’ on a a course full of discarded bottles. Yup, I’ll pay £15 rather than £2.99 just to lose it in a bush..
Buy better bottle cages! Easy fix
I thought about entering into a few races stateside, then I saw what accidents look like...
That was a fun video.👍 You said rage 😡🤬🤭😂🤣😆
👍👍 BTW. That rookie, Dowsett, got his video out before you did.😁😁😁
Surprised to see most of the top riders on road shoes!
Should have the same setup as the winner👍🤔😂🤣
Is it me or audio in every recent video is broken? It goes from stereo to mono.
It’s an known issue with those Sony cameras,
Fine until recently - I’ve swapped out the microphone now so shouldn’t be a problem!
Almost every video I've seen from here has had punctures. Was the winner on Schwalbe Marathons, or those solid tyres? :D Good race though
Only one co2 and no pump, seriously?
Yea, never had an issue that requires more in the past… first time for everything 🤙🏼
@@bbikerlawrence roadies, you’re all the same 🤣
Bet you don’t carry a spare hanger nor a pair of pads either.
Tubeless ... 😆 No pump ... 🤣 That's a real pro.
So pro 🫣👀
"bastard" hahaha Yes Sam.
Wah nice a lot of pro

Xc hardtail. Soak up the bumps.🙄
Did he say cadence? 145> eeehh not bad.. ha ha ha JJ
Remember when you were in California and everyone was like you shoulda gone tubeless
There was a film out a while ago. Absolute Beginners.
Sorry Herbert?

Thanks for the support Herbert but you’re incorrect, the race was 3.15hr, so yes over 400w for 20 minutes is very normal for a lot of these guys.
Now, convince me tubeless is the future

Thanks Lawrence , and friends ! Damn , sealant failed . Sorry dude!
Castle Douglas ? Did you visit the botanical gardens and sleep in jobbletops ??? 😂
Better luck next time.
not a carnage? lol
Haha no not again🤣
