Obviously not relevant anymore with the Rivenese numbering system, but I thought it was a cool detail. Besides the obvious changes to her handwriting to make it more legible, some clues are reworded to make their meaning more clear (like Catherine specifying Gehn's outpost on 233, instead of just his journal "in his office"). On the other hand, there are small alterations that change the color of the narrative: for instance, in the original Catherine is worried that the Moiety have cut vital ties with the villagers who have not openly joined them, while in the remake they're clearly still collaborating under Gehn's nose.
