Great GM rocket, but by no means meant to be a dps rocket. With how much dps rotations have evolved over the corse of D2, using just your rocket launcher during a dps phase almost never happens. Gonna pick this up though for void surge GMs for sure
I don't have apex sadly, so this will be my go to launcher if i get it craftable.
I’ve only been able to get one roll of this and it’s a danger zone roll and I love it
Idk why anyone would think this is better than apex. Recon + B&S is an unbeatable combo thus far. Plus it being solar it pairs with heaps of specials for dps when ammo is out

Cold Comfort with Envious and BS, and Apex with Recon and BS is all you need :)

It's easier to get and you don't have to farm patterns for weeks on end.

Considerably more damage? It's just over 1% more damage and will require 3 more rockets to be shot and no-one is using a rocket launcher for ad clear over a machine gun or grenade launcher
Is it better than breytech osprey adept?
No. It’s an objectively worse rocket launcher of the same niche. They’re both void and get the combo of AL + Bipod which is excellent for GM usage. This however is a precision frame so compared to adaptives and aggressives it does 15% less damage inherently. A high impact does 10% less than the top frames by comparison and also has slightly better total ammo also under the hood and has an absurd blast radius and better damage ratio to make it so you can use it on groups of adds and champs alike and not worry. Overall it’s slightly worse in about every aspect of what these things are used for so it’s a noticeable downgrade. Personally I’d always take a AL or Field prep braytech into gms over this whether the roll is adept or not. The same things can be said about crowning duologue and semiotician imo.

@@rudeusfanthey buffed precision frames to have more ammo so if you go for clown and bipod you have a GM worthy rocket. Not to mention that we have nothing in the void flavor that can compete with the best in the game, and its going to be a lot of void surge this season. Required to pay attention to now, plus the artifact mod in the final column that buffs void damage against weakened targets

What does this rocket do better than edge transit? Ad clear? No. Dps? No. Champions? No. Fun? No.
It's not competing with just rocket launchers. Maybe next season if there is some good RL perks, but unfortunately it just can't compete this season
