Impatience is the reason we are in the shape we’re in now. It started with frank Solich. Worst mistake we ever made my opinion. Matt Rhule is a good coach. We already have people talking about firing him. Unbelievable. If we fire Matt Rhule to soon not give him a chance. We will never get another good coach to come to Nebraska. The only reason Satterfield is here is because of Matt Rhule. South Carolina fans hated him for the same bullshit that’s going on here. The only offensive identity we will have under him is plain and predictable. I don't think Raiola is sold on Satterfield's offense. Too often, Raiola is waiting for receivers to run extended routes instead of having a slant, flat, or mesh route to hit. So the defense gets to him. Satterfield apparently can't figure this out. Not to mention the run plays. The design, most of the time, makes no sense, and he puts in a RB who is all speed and no patience and no juke.
The defense was exposed as well. The inattentive LBs aren't the quality required for this to meet a good run team with a competent line. The secondary never jam receivers, which would disrupt timing routes and give the D-line just a beat or two more times to get into the QB and disrupt his accuracy.
The defense stats mean nothing, as they are against teams at or below .500. This means something when you have been up against quality opponents.

    1. I'm not surprised by this because I expected this outcome. This team is not coached, and what coaching we have is not good at all. Case in point, how did we go all off-season and not put together a special teams division on this team. How did that get overlooked? The O-line was garbage last year, and most of the same players are still there. Why did we predict this would change? Why didn't we change when we had the chance?
    2. Yes. Indiana is a BIG10 Playoff contender because their coach is aggressive and hungry. He also put together a great staff. Matt Rhule is neither a good coach nor is he hungry. He just wants to try and make a bowl game. That's his goal. Curt Cignetti wants to win championships, and that is visible in how his team is coached.
    3. No. I looked at the schedule last year and predicted this would happen. Rhule is out of his league and depth in this conference. And like all head football coaches, will not fire his freinds when it is very obvious that they can't get the job done regaurdless of who they are playing.

Indiana must be one of the best teams in the nation. They haven't even really been tested yet by anyone. They are incredibly solid football team!!!! GBR

I think we need to reevaluate some of the COACHES for this loss. Receivers aren't holding onto the ball, blocking on the perimeter. Running backs aren't having patience, or making the right cuts. The O line isn't helping out the young qb. Haarberg gave a bit of a spark with the qb run game, and would have loved to see more of it. The D looked like they weren't locked in, and were out of place. This was such a bad game overall for the team. I feel that coaching was a big issue today. They had a BYE week before this and SHOULD have been prepared.

      @inirons 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

Dylan can go. Don't need him, don't need the coach either. Rhule's top priority is sending QBs to the NFL. Raiola has -89 yards rushing after seven games. Look at the roster of QBs; they're all pocket passers with one exception. Should have two running backs with 700-800 yards each by this point in the season. This season is a replay of the previous 20 years of failed leadership at Nebraska.

Nebraska choked big time , but to be honest I hope Indiana runs the table throws off the divisionless big 10 persona of just Michigan , Ohio state , and Penn state being the only teams to watch. It's a new age of football and Matt rhule needs to adapt with it for him and the team to get better every year. I think the ceiling is 8 wins and if we hit that , that's not a bad season.

I appreciate your passion for Nebraska. My father went to IU, I went to IU, my son went to IU, and my daughter went to IU so we are all passionaite about IU football. IU has consistently sucked at football and we were always told we would only be a basketball school. Along comes coach Cig, and damn we are 7-0! He did an amazing job at lesser programs and when he was introduced to the press at IU and asked why he could succeed at IU he replied "Google me". I thought it would take a couple of years to build up IU with Cignetti, but OMG...we are ranked 16 and will probably be ranked 11th or 12th tomorrow. It's still hard for me to believe how this one coach can make such an impact in his first season. I feel like us Hoosier fans are dreaming...but that game against Nebraska was a smackdown. I think Nebraska will rebound and will be ok, but I feel ya, that was a hard loss to take. All the best.

The 3-3-5 does not work in a physical conference. We lost to a mediocre Illinois team because they ground us down. Indiana ran all over is again. This puts too much pressure on Nash and Ty to be super human. Not to mention our 2 LBs are in a pressure cooker as well.
Its not the players fault they are put in a bad situation.
I know coach Raiola helped get Dylan here but Dominic need to have a brother to brother conversation. The oline needs to start dominating and helping his nephew out.
Satterfield well another horse crap game calling plays.
No do not play Haarberg at QB.. when you have 2 QBs you have no QB. Haarberg can help is in a ton of positions but once again... Satterfield is so not creative...

Considering the circumstances, a Nebraska team that had some juice coming into this season against an Indiana team playing well but certainly not considered to be a big contender, this may have been the most embarrassing Husker game I have seen in 60 plus years of watching Husker football!
If I was Coach Rhule, I would be putting a massive effort into recruiting offensive linemen over the next couple of years.
There is absolutely no reason for a team that used to lead the nation in rushing year after year for three decades, to not be able to run the football.
Our backs are not that bad, but you can't run into a stacked line with no up-front blocking.
I haven't given up on this team but, if they are crushed by Ohio State next week (which is a very good possibility), that could completely demoralize this team and quite possibly be the end of their chance for a bowl game once again.
Even a poor UCLA team doesn't look so good any more!
I hope I am wrong, but this team needs to get their mojo back if they expect to get even a sixth win now!

Nebraska spends as much money as the top programs in the country and has done so for the past twenty years. The program has been terrible because the University leadership is really poor. Throwing big money at so called premium coaches is evidence. Just like the Illinois game the defense was Swiss cheese and the offense and special teams were not prepared after a bye week. It doesn’t matter which coach Neb hires, the University management sucks.
