The part was probably a typo, as there is an HTML entity called "" , short for "soft hyphen", or in other words just a dash. So he actually said "Oh- god", which... doesn't make much sense either.
Either that, or the game uses commands like "" to set the expression of the person talking - but they messed up and missed a space or something.
Hyphens are used a lot in Japanese and I think I've seen a couple in the Korean version so maybe it does make sense

After Princess Maker 2, the bar for success was so low that it was touching the ground. This is subterranean.
You know it one of the hardest ending in the princess series with the true herroine one, so yeah he really improved in a way 🤣
The only PM game it isn't possible in is Princess Maker 5. And that might be because you have the option of playing as a mother there.

Finally, it's been too long since I've seen Peebs fail to raise a daughter for my personal entertainment.
I don't know what's creepier, this ending where the girl falls in love with her father or the ending in Princess Maker 2 (not the one PBG got) where the girl becomes a 'High Class Harlot' and is described specifically as 'being favoured by men who prefer younger girls'. Your daughter literally becomes a harlot for paedophiles. Is that creepier than marrying her dad?
Isn't the harlot ending from the first game considered bad?
The refined harlot ending also requires you to make her thinner than normal and have increased her bust size. Which depending on your income can be done up to 3 times and normally in the first few years of the game.
The PM2 is definitely worse. At least this ending is technically “No Chromo”, and she doesn’t hate him
so after years of child labor, being broke, and telling her no a lot, she wants to marry her father... must be all those smiles for her birthday...

Princess Maker 5 is...interesting. For one thing it's INSANELY long. I do believe it has a father-marrying ending, as I think _all_ of them do (but only if you choose to be a dad instead of a mom). It's also got a weird mix of endings between real-world modernish ones, fantasy adventure endings, and actually _becoming an eternal being_ . (Actually in 3 you can become the next Fairy Queen, too.)
I played PM2 more than a couple of times, filled PM3 album TWICE, married all the PM4 princes and more including the true hero ending.
PM5 I played exactly once and never looked back.

Oh nothing really. I sacrificed an ENTIRE WEEK to see the true hero ending, four cardinal queens ending, all 6? 7? marriage/divorce endings in one save file in ONE PLAYTHROUGH.
I can't do this with career endings. I will not waste a week just to fill a single album. Maybe I could go faster without looking up guides and wasting time with friendship points but just no. The length is insane. Like Civ6 level insane except worse.
Considering other PM series takes a day to fill 3 to 4 normal career endings (even more if you know what you're doing)..
It didn't help that the prince was an asshole.
Make sure PBG does the fan translation patch at least; the game itself is meh, but the CFK translation is bad...

Stockholm syndrome actually isn’t a real syndrome! Most, if not all, of diagnosis’s (diagnosi?) of stockholm syndrome are done by media and/or people with no knowledge of actual mental health issues, and not real psychologists.
The first use of it was by a man trying to discredit a woman in a hostage situation trusting her captors (who were reassuring her everything would be alright) over the police (that were acting very aggressive in the ensuing bust of the hostage situation). It’s very Freudian (read: completely incorrect guesses on psychology) and was entirely made up (mostly to discredit women, as ‘women are more emotional, and therefore end up falling in love with their captors’).
Tl;dr, stockholm syndrome ain’t real, but gaslighting is.

Right now, I just realized that it rather impressive that PB got the father marriage on the first time playing ever! It’s quite hard because, to get the ending, the daughter needs to:
- do housework at least 30 times
- have 100 in trust
- have at least 800 in attitude
- have her morality between 300-499
- have at least 600 in the other attributes
- never have worked as a bar hostess (doesn’t confuse with bar waitress)
unironically this has become one of my favourite series on the channel
