my favorite weapon in Dead Space (2023)

Flamethrower combo'd with the re-worked Force Gun alternative fire just completely melts entire hordes. Necromorph gets close? just primary fire with force gun to create space. Alternative fire for flamethrower keeps them away from you.
(Also big thumbs up to the developers responsible for weapon audio effects. They are extremely superb.)
