This one in the video is closer to $120k with the CCB, carbon seats etc. and agreed.

I knew we were going to hear Mason's "SIGNATURE" laughing when the car was accelerating . . always the best part of these type of videos. ( I'd probably do the same thing, too !!! )

Im a bit old so i have the 2018 CTS V but i do love these models and Caddilacs attention to the small details like the 25th anniversary badge is a real winner with me. Sure wish my model had a stick
Glad GM hasn't given up on manuals gearboxes on their sedans, unlike Europe that given up on ALL manual gearboxes regardless of segment and trim.
Honda and BMW were the hold outs, thankfully gm got back into RWD and grabbed that torch - Bob Lutz should be proud

Great review guys. First review that I have read that gave a accurate interior noise level and actually gave a little taste of the sound system. Most reviews focus on just the performance aspects not the more luxury aspects of the car. Some reviews even said " A three season car not for winter driving" even said tires for winter driving hard to find. You guys quashed that opinion as it relates to a daily driver. First review to give prices for the different options as well. Great attention to detail guys.

LOVE that tall first gear. If you have all the power you need and then some why be shiting constantly at slower speeds. Surf that sweet torque.

This car should be AWD. I know, puff out your chest Chad, but when you consider the price and the number of markets in the U.S that actually get proper snow covered road winters, not to mention the Canadian market, it would have been nice to drive this spectacular car all year round.
I had to go for the RS5 Sportback.

You need to check out Topher for doing audio system checks. I like the sound level test, but think doing it as 70 or 80 would make more sense. Thanks, very detailed.
Not one issue with this car…however I wish the center infotainment screen was wider, or at least full screen instead of the black borders.
Wait till 2025 it is very much updated infotainment system😀

I watched a channel that replaced the engine with a built 427 , upgraded blower, and tuned. Seems like it made around 900 to the wheel without much boost or stress on components
this color is nice. I looked at one of these but didn't feel like it had enough room.

You do know redline is a lot higher than 3,500 RPM, right?
@@CarConfections Yes - I am not critizing the upshifts. But in the video the driver DOWNshifted into 1st gear at around 30 mph. Unless the Cadillac has some special gearbox and synchros that I am not aware of (maybe it does?) that is a big no-no. First gear should only be selected when at an absolute stand-still or a slow speed up a hill. I could be wrong to be honest, but that is the knowledge I have from my driving experience.
What size are the rear winter tires on this car and are the mounted on factory rear or factory front wheels in the back?

does the HUD display for track mode work for you? Mine is not displaying when it gets close to redline?

The price is kinda ridiculous given outside of the $8,000 seats most could live without the entire interior and exterior is nothing new🤷♂️ you’re just paying a anniversary fee and apparently they value the engine at $60k+🤣
