2:55 - you deserve a medal for that one thing alone. Both my local Advance and Autozone didn't have the part, they said it was a dealer only part. I showed the Autozone clerk that one shot of you and he found it. He asked me how I knew and I told him about your video. He asked what car you installed it on, and I ssid a 2007, a virtual twin of my 2006. Long story short he sold it to me ($48.00) and told me I could return it if it didn't fit. I didn't have to, it fit like a glove. So thank you again for showing us the part number, guess the world is a funny place. Then it only mounts one way on its holding bracket, making it an "idiotproof" part. Again thank you. Cant believe the part stores results on it.
Thanks Caution: For some In advance of removal and per allotted time: Consider new hoses in and out and new hose clamps and a selection of pliers etc to manage hoses replacement I purchased the valve and bracket w/ screw assembly from Honda. That “ screw” on existing is rusted and will require efforts to remove and reuse - I elected new . And a razor to cut away old hoses and … prayer. Access is challenging and watch out pulling on hose connected to heater core . Consider cutting away - 🆘🆘🆘 cheap insurance

Do you have to drain the coolant to perform this fix?
I didn't
Great video very simple I just watched a guy with a 30 min video!!!!😂😂😂😂
Thanks! I try to make as short as possible and still help!
Would this cause an accord to over heat?
If all your coolant leaked out from it leaking
I can't find that heater control valve on my 2010 honda Accord
I would have to see the car. The 2003-2007 should be similar.
Couldnt see to well on how you were removing and putting on the brackets, hands were blocking the view
Sorry.
