We hear ya, but also this part isn't super noticeable once its installed. Plus Its not gonna cause any issues that would make anyone look for it if you know what I mean.
THE INCONSISTENCY OF BITE WHEN RELEASING CLUTCH AND HOW HIGH THE RELEASE IT , HAS BEEN A HUGE GRIPE OF MINE..THAT AND THE STOCK SHIFTER FEEL WAS HORRIBLE AND SLOPPY EVEN FOR A CABLE SHIFTER. MY 1ST MODS WERE THE FULL SHIFTER KIT AND PITCH STOP. ADDED GROUP N MOUNT..POSITIVE SHIFT KIT.GOT THESE PARTS ON BACK ORDER ANXIOUSLY AWAITING AND THEN I THINK THE PERRIN LOCK DOWN KIT WILL BE CHEFS KISS UNTIL THE SPLIT CASE GIVES UP THE GHOST AND I DUST OFF MY PALLET OF STI 6 SPEED GOODIES.
Unfortunately I can't provide assistance for that particular car as my expertise is focused on Subaru. I would recommend reaching out to a forum or community for that specific model. Unless I'm missing something, and if i am please let me know.
Id say if you drive your car spiritedly on a regular basis then you'll really enjoy this! It improves the clutch feel quite a bit which just makes driving feel better entirely.
This could void warranty on the clutch slave cylinder because the aftermarket part touches it. Dealers have to prove that the aftermarket part caused the issue if one were to occur.
Considering our part reduces clutch delay there is a very strong chance that it solves your problem. If you do install one, we’d love to hear back on the results. Also they’re currently 25%…..
Just installed today on my 22 Wrx. 10/10 recommend. Quick simple install and man does it feel better.
Ah great, that's awesome to hear! Its surprising how much of a difference such a small and simple part makes.
@ so far this week I’ve added 3 Perrin parts. Soon I’ll have the whole catalog of VB upgrades!
ayyy that's what's up!
Just ordered this and the shifter detents. The clutch modularity and inconsistent shifting feel is my biggest pet peeve
Well you're not alone in feeling that way. Those two mods will certanily make it all better!
can you make more discreet colors? warranty void red is too easy to spot. (also stainless steel)
my main gripe with these aftermarket parts is how they look, would be really nice if they offered more discrete oem+ looking parts

Thought I’d chime back in and let y’all know. In our next run of these (which won’t be very long) we’ll be making black ones🫱🏼🫲🏽
@@PERRINPerformance I wish my diverter valve had been black too, just sayin' :)
@@PERRINPerformance CURRENTLY WAITING FOR THOSE FROM IMPORT IMAGE. CANT WAIT AND ID MUCH PREFER BLACK
Will there be an install video posted soon?
We'll put it on the to do list. its a realitivly easy one so im sure we can get one made soon ish.
@@PERRINPerformanceplease do an install video for this and the shifter detents! Even if it’s all in one video :)

website doesn't say anything about an 05 sti, uneeded or incompatible?
The 05 STI doesn’t have the clutch delay valve on the slave cylinder so it’s inapplicable on them.
@@PERRINPerformance awesome, thanks for the info!
Of course, anytime!
Bmw e60 550i? I need help with that n what i need

Risk of transmission damage (for those people who do launches)?
Edit: *increased* risk?
haha, i was gonna say. No, no increase in damage.
Will this improve daily driving? Or is it more targeted for the track

I have a Subaru BRZ limited 2013would this work for me
It technically doesn’t fit but that’s because they do not have a clutch delay valve on the slave cylinder.
Will this void warranty in any way?

So I’m noticing that when I speed shift into 2nd at 5k rpm, I get a slight grind going into 2nd. Could this fix my issue?

@ ordered the CDV and the Detent kit from IIR. Waiting for it to ship as we speak. The Detent kit is back ordered so I’ll be waiting on those.
@@Mister_6ix I have the same issue. Please let me know if this fixed it
