Definitely don't apologize...you are spot on in your understanding of bigger pictures. Division is the name of the game. I saw it exactly the same way...the whole left/right paradigm is the problem...it inherently divides us at the most basic level into two sides...then demonizes the sides against one another "hegelian dialectic" and forces each person in one side or the other. Only offered 2 choices half and half....yea there are others but they can't gain enough ground against the left and the right. Put into a forced choice between two candidates to choose an elected voice to represent EVERYONE even though we are divided on some hard-drawn lines. I doubt ANYONE agrees with EVERYTHING either side does or proposes to do. They have almost always been two wings of the same bird (illusion of choice)....I think as HUMAN BEINGS....we all want essentially the same thing as was promised...The right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness and that the majority of the PEOPLE fall to the middle of the two extremes. I think without the overlay of SIDES....The majority of people would likely align right in the center if they had that choice. I get Democrat/Republican/Libertarian etc...just like religions...divided into categories where someone else draws the lines. Where is the AMERICAN party that does away with the sides and instead unites everyone and brings common sense and an option to the majority that is in the middle.
