I’m an ICU nurse who did the sinner’s prayers with quite a few drugs addicts. Multiple times they told me that in addition to the hard life, the negative words that came out of their families (parents, siblings etc) are those that destroyed them the most. God touched you for a purpose, and I’m glad you chose to fulfill his plan before you meet him face to face❤🙏🏽

As a veteran I hit a very dark time and was living in a drug house with a narcissist controlling everything I did. One of Tom's song came on TH-cam as I was ready to quit. He saved me. His songs, his voice cut through me like a knife that was in my hand. Kept listening, still listening to him. I'm still here. Fighting every day.

If you are a Christian you should not be applauding this. Yes, it is good to overcome sin. But his message is one of pride and arrogance. Such is not from wisdom, God will destroy all pride. As a Christian Tom's music bears some truth to it but his theatrics are still demonic in appearance and nothing he sings is in the form of praise for The Father Almighty. He claims himself to be a goat (greatest of all time) but in Christian terms goats are on the left of Lord Christ and they will all perish. Those on the right of Lord Christ are all lambs, not goats. I think there is a good reason for this "interesting" play on words.

God damn... I feel like this is his life story. And it mirrors mine. Grew up wealthy, went on my own, and was the epitome of poverty, and drug addiction. Lived in trailers, and seedy hotels. Then got my shit together. Made it to apartment class, then rented a townhouse, then bought a house a 40yrs old.
I literally discovered Tom yesterday. Super mad respect for his talent, evangelism, Canadian support for American veterans , support for truth and regular-class working people, and Trump. He has a beautiful family, Jesus has truly redeemed him and is using him in mighty ways. I'm so excited to see people my parents' and grandparents' age listening to him. I also never cared for rap, but all the patriot, Christian rappers have converted me in the last 24 hours. ❤

Got my mind right, worked hard, started my own business. Prayed hard for a new wife. Found one who 's a devout Christian. Been my own boss for over 30 years now and it's all due to my rebirth. Currently building my retirement house on a tropical island. Tom, you're an inspiration to everyone. God bless!

Just was thinking back to my entry and time in CA 20 years ago. Moved there for a job as a small-town guy, got hit while stopped in car by someone doing 40 in a parking lot and then sued, married and divorced in 2 years, after alimony, couldn't pay the bills, and with about a year later with a 3-year-old boy was only 1 month from losing my car and place to live. I was close to giving up and turning to alcohol/addictions. I met some great people that year, lifetime friends through a church men's retreat. I made it through, eating pasta and bagels for months on end, getting just enough help from family to keep a roof over my head. I worked my ass off every day of my life sometimes pulling all-nighters to hit deadlines and make my way out of debt. Thank God I had good friends and inspirational books/songs like this at the time. Now with two more kids, a house, a wonderful life and deep faith, I can help others. I'm not rich, but I have a few extra bucks to share each month and it feels good. I wish I had this song earlier in my struggles but it inspires me to press on and make more impact. You never know what is going to knock you down, but the key is to get back up and shoot for the moon as the song says.

Opened his whole chest up. Shoulder repaired 3 times need knee replacement but can😢take time off work driving a semi truck. My diabetic issues because of stress , had toes amputated major eye problems. .BUT...We soldier on.

I am now 58 with a felony committed 32 years ago that everyone told me would ruin my life. I worked shit jobs, was homeless, doing drugs and drinking more than I should.
Years later I gave up working dead end jobs, barely surviving. Now I have worked in county jails supervising inmates, am now a state licensed armed security guard who carries a valid ccp.
I refused to believe the lies that I wouldn't amount to anything, but look at me now. Just wish my dad was alive to see what I've done with my life.

I’m 53 & God changed my life in 2009 through Jesus on the cross who rose up to give me hope! My daughter took her last breath on March 1st in a field behind a strip mall… in a one person makeshift tent, just 11 days before her 34th birthday. She wasn’t like that when she moved to Cali in December of 2018. I wish she would’ve made it, but in our last coherent conversation, she told me that she believed Jesus died and rose for her… to forgive her for her sin. Her flesh lost out, but I believe she is with Jesus now. God has given me dreams to confirm it. (Acts 2) In your gift, stay humble. You no longer have to prove yourself to anyone. You have sincere talent… Glorify God with it and give The Almighty credit! ♥️🙏🙌
