This is so cute, I’ve been loving all the cottage living builds! As a suggestion I think building a home with some NPCs from Cottage Living in mind, like the Crumplebottoms for instance might be really cute & fun!

lovely build! maybe try making a farm for vampires? I feel like that would be interesting to see a gothic build, especially considering the traditional vampires aversion to sunlight

obsessions cottage. Sunflowers every where. In the landscaping, Country kitchen kit has some sunflower kitchen stuff, the sunflower pictures, the decals. I'm talking every sunflower the game has to offer. Maybe she's a single sim who does flower arrangements or something. I'd really love to see a sunflower build 🌻 💛

Super cute build! It made me inspired to build something similar. In Norway, we always enter through a mudroom, no matter what (every house is designed that way). It would be totally weird to walk into the dining room or the living room.
The upright piano is downright GENIUS

For the cross-stitch decor, for medium and small sizes, you have to have your Sim click on them when they’re laying flat and they then have the option to make a wall mounted version. Those you can then place on the walls and move wherever. Hope that helps!
I feel your pain on the plants! My daughter is 8 weeks old and one of my oldest plants is not doing well because I haven't been able to give him as much attention! I always love your builds, but this one is right up my alley!
Obsessed with this build! I especially love that you made the backyard the front yard - almost like the sim can look out her front window to look at her plants and chicks. Such a cute idea!

I pretty much never comment on videos but this build is so incredible! Everything about it is perfect! I’m playing now with a grandmother, mother, and daughter living on the large plot in HOB and I think once the grandmother passes, I’ll download this lot and move them in to downsize. Love this!

I love your builds always! The only thing with the debug wisteria is that when you are in gameplay and have the cut walls on, the wisteria remains and it can get slightly annoying. Thanks for all you do!! 💕

my grandmas house has a dining room right near the back door which is usually used as a front door but honestly it looks really nice and its all open to the living room aswell but with clear distinction between the 2 rooms if that makes sense? then theres a step up into the kitchen, 2nd living room, and bedrooms. i definately agree that most of the time it feels awkward to step right into the dining room but for some floor plans it just works really nice and smoothly

Im obsessed with this build !! Keep up the good work♡ I love the reshade as well and I have it in my game but I was wondering if your game lags at all? My game lags really badly with the reshape to the point I can only take screenshots and can’t play with it on.

When using the tool mod I still hardly ever use the debug or liveedit stuff constantly, I turn it on when I need something and then use the liveedit category it’s still way easier than just the cheat, I often sort by pack as well to limit how much I see.
I think the wisteria looks great sized up and also mixing sizes, they really managed to make it look very realistic, unlike that blocky bougainvillea that I can never make work.

That large shelf from country kitchen kit I think is supposed to be one of those shelves that would go over stoves back in like the 30’s or 40’s? I’m not sure. Lol but I always size it down too!

It’s great to get to know the person behind the camera. Thanks for sharing! I always heard avocados were difficult to grow. I tried once when my daughter was younger. We eat a lot of them. It didn’t last long before it died.
Thanks for explaining how to put the dutch oven on the stove. I tried putting one in the stove in my Sims house and couldn't get it to work. This makes me very happy.
I like the concept behind this build because adoption is featured heavily in my gameplay. I wish teens could be adopted in the game.

Ooo an interesting storyline would be if she sadly couldn’t have children of her own and so she grows her own Plant Sim children (although it’s disappointing that the Plant Sims aren’t full Occults and it’s not permanent)

The curtains aren't my vibe either but I love your speed builds.
My house is super tiny - and like you, it felt weird to walk into the dining room, but after three years I flipped the two rooms and it's SO MUCH BETTER. The living room is a lot cozier and the dining room doesn't feel too weird there. (I also rarely dine in it so it's more a pass-through - and those three exits/entrances I think is what made the living room not really work there at all.
I’m waiting for the day the release lawnmowers and the sims can cut grass and do yard work 😂

Hiii again, ı know I have already commented but I have another build idea which I think would be so cool! You can build a house at oasis springs (the desert world) and have a single sim that is a cactus mom!
At my house you walk straight into the dining room, I think it’s sort of common in Australia 😊
You should make a single dad with triplet teenage daughters! The girls should be a lot to handle because they all want to be famous (in different ways). One girl is into singing and wants to be an actress, another is into sports and dance and wants to be a ballerina, and the last girl is a charitable sim that wants to be an actress. The dad should have a hard time relating to his daughters, but be a super supportive and hardworking dad. :)

My childhood home and my godmother's house both had layouts to where you walk through the front door and the dinning room opens to your immediate right. Two different cities and all. So maybe it's a southern thing 🤷🏾♀️

Hey, I know this is super not related to the video, but I need help! ;-; I'm having a problem with my game. You see, my lots are loosing their doors and when I try to add the doors back to the lot, it won't work ! ;---; Every time I try to replace the lot, I get a message saying:
"The lot placed was created using the Move Objects cheat. As a result, some objects may br located in positions that are inaccessible by your Sims."
Idk how to fix it!! I even try to build a little house without the cheat and it won't work !! T-T I just want to know if there's someone having the same problem and how to fix it ! PLS! ;-;
Do you have basemental mod in your game? I've read from a few FB sim groups that it causes this issue

you don't need to have organised debug in your game, you can tag it off actually
This build is amazing! I will definitely download it and modify it because I don't have all the packs. The only thing is I can't look at these curtains 😂 they are so ugly in my opinion haha. But I love the video!
I love the build but there is something I want to add you can have a biological child because A boy can donate their stuff and then a girl receives it and gets pregnant and that way the kid is their biological child.
This story line would have been perfect for the sims 2 plant sims. Like maybe she wanted a baby so much and loved her plants so much she found a lil plant baby in her garden and adopted it.
But the plant sims in the sims 4 are so disappointing
