- Today's upload is all about Unboxing and Reviewing the Mafex Justice League BATMAN Action Figure by Medicom Toy. I find myself more impressed with this action figure than I had previously thought I would be. It seems to address many of the issues collectors had with the Mafex BvS Dawn of Justice version of the Ben Affleck Dark Knight. Hope you enjoy it!

So glad you are enjoying my style of reviews. I try to keep things interesting. I just picked mine up from ebay retailers who already have them in stock. The price of these is fairly uniform across the board from what I can see. I would surf ebay for the, I picked up a second Batman which should be here this week.

Me too. It’s one of my years favourites.
Finding a good accurate replacement cape for this figure is HARD.
Don't you think that the grey portion of this figure is one tiny bit too dark? I think that an immediately brighter shade of grey would be more accurate.
The video doesnt quite reflect that because the lighting is really good, but under regular lighting I think the figure is overall too dark.
Other than that, the figure is perfect.

Can't wait to get the Mafex Bats...Plus I still gotta get the Figuarts as well hahaha. Like you said, they're both awesome! ...I have the Mezco BvS Bats (My only Mezco so far) and he's great but again, like you say, there's something about the plastic figures...you don't have to be as careful with them haha. :-)

The pop sound was so funny
you didn't miss much by not having the mezco batfleck. i have the mezco and all the mafex. the new JL batfleck is a superior figure. the mezco by itself is a nice piece, but compare to all the imports the mezco clearly has a very bad proportion as well as that same funny looking neck/cowl piece. if mezco had actually try to build a accurate body for Batfleck, i would probably like it more, but as with most domestic figure brands, they use/recycle generic bodies for all characters.
That’s something I can certainly agree with. The Geeen arrow and Flash seem to suffer from the stalky/bulky proportion issue a lot less than Batman and Superman but that is definitely a noticeable thing.

The Superman Figure in my profile picture is the DC Essentials Superman. He is supposed to be released in September. I just photoshopped the yellow around him so he would stand out. 👍

That’s a good question. I figure it’s based on the fabric they used. Likely didn’t want to mess with it I’m betting.
Great review, only thing; I don't like the cape, not wired, too leathery and too big, not actually accurate at all
I got tired of waiting on big bad toy store so I cancelled my preorder. Sooo jealous I'm ordering overseas!

I love the mafex boxes lol they comit to that you , like when you buy a multiverse figure the back of the box is all advertising the other figures lol and the CAF , but a mafex box the back is the accessories and dope poses of the figure lol committed

can u make wire cape for this figure?
I'm sure it can be done but the cape itself would likely need completely replacing if I did it I wanted the wires to go all the way up to just under the neck piece of his cowl. As it is there isn't enough fabric in that portion of his cape to do that.

Mezco is superior in certain cases, though for instance Knightmare Batman, the Mafex figure looks infinitely superior. Sculpted plastic coat looks far more striking than their big poofy pleather looking interpretation of it. In comparison Mezco occasionally looks kinda doll-like in comparison. Check out the pics for either company's upcoming Clockwork Orange Alex, Mafex fig looks a whole lot cooler.

I love the Mafex also...but it's alot more expensive. No action figure should cost more than $50-55
