Those symbols on the base are called digimoji, and those specifically spell "Digital Monster", a lot of digimon have that written on them, Omegamon's own sword has written "All Delete" in digimoji. Also those versions of Taichi and Yamato are how they looked in the Our War Game movie, not the reboot. Seeing an Omnimon figure always reminds me of that WarGreymon/MetalGarurumon DNA Digivolve Omnimon figure that was released many years ago. Part of me wonders if there was anyone who attempted to recreate that idea, but with more poseability and figures that are more to scale and proportionate.
The DigiCode on the base says "Digital Monster" in case anyone was wondering. It uses the Japanese DigiCode so it would come out as "Dejitaru Monsutā".

The hip spikes seriously hurt too, but the figure looks amazing. Also, those are the outfits Tai and Matt wore in Our War Game. Not the 2020 versions.
They're not the reboot versions. I can confirm that's what they looked like in the movie. If it was the reboot, Matt/Yamato would be in a purple shirt.

I hope we will be able to get some more intricate digimon designs in this line. Omnimon is a classic, but getting something like Imperialdramon or Susanoomon would be cooler.

Who knew, this is really a scale up of the SH Figuarts, specially the Premium Color edition because that one also has the same vinyl cape and it got yellowed over time.
I always have a problem with large figures. On the one hand, it looks cool and powerful, but on the other hand, there are problems with posing and playing. Also in the case of Omegamon, a larger scale does not provide much because there are not many details and there are no additional mechanisms such as transformers where a larger scale can help. Also in my case I don't have that much space on the shelf :(.
This figure couldve been easily resell as mega size, same size, it doesnt need all those metal, if the figure itself just plain. And you can airbrushed it by yourself, but what do i know, its bandai afterall.

I don't think those are the 2020 remake designs for Tai and Matt. Matt tended to wear purple in that series. Plus, he wears a brown shirt when the fight with Diaboromon is about to end.
Jobby i didnt have a proper childhood, i mean i was 2 when Transformers 1 came out, I still grew up watching the G1 and Beast Wars cartoon, i remember getting chewed out by my dad because i was caught sneaking to the living room to watch more Beast Wars

You can even see the Symbols of Courage and Friendship on the sides of the stand. 7:06 Also, I'm pretty sure that these figures of Matt and Tai are based on their appearance in the Digimon movie.
Back when I watched Digimon the movie on VHS, my kid brain thought Omnimon said “SUPREME CANNON!! BONE!!”😂. Though the reveal of Omnimon was still just as beautiful, magical, and epic as ever!
This new set up looks perfect for the future big transformers like the third party Devastator, headmaster body, and the combiners with transforming parts
