Also, mother and daughter shared a scene together in Halloween H20. One of my favourite bits of movie trivia is not just they share a scene together but a few beats of the Psycho music plays and the car Janet Leigh has in the scene is the exact same car she used in Psycho.

Can't wait to watch it!!! Watched my first Halloween movie in 1996 at 8 years old and it scared the crap out of me but I was fascinated. No other movie killer will ever top Michael Myers.
The Halloween music/theme, is the best in any scary movie and will live on as will the movie for many years.

Jamie gets so annoyed of the questions she gets asked. It’s probably because she’s been asked the same shit over and over and over. Lol but the questions are well put together. He did a great job. She’s had some bad hosts that didn’t really do their homework right. He did great. I would geek out too.

It's interesting that we all remember her mom so young yet she looks more and more like her as she gets older. I always found her beautiful, she has something special about her but I feel like her whole career is basically a love letter to her mother and I'm glad she's finally letting go of it and acts for herself. It shows. And it's important.

Omg, yes... I was going to say looks like he was on blow or adderall.. Not starting any rumors, but in my observation I agree he seemed to get edgy pretty fast. Ants in his pants. I wonder how many interviews they have done by then? It's gonna rain money down for Blumhouse and The core crew involved. Jamie said she only got scale rate for this Halloween $14,000. However I'm sure she'll be getting a production credit & cut. That's how Blumhouse rolls. Cheap budget shoots & then bank on a solid box office return. They have faith in the film. I dig that business plan.

I cheesed this whole damn story, I love Halloween and so look forward to watching this installment. It'll never be a 10/10 in my book because Donald Pleasence isn't in it, and to me his character is just as important as Laurie Strode and Michael Myers.

I just saw it in theaters over thanksgiving weekend and loved it. That Green/McBride combo did a great job! It’s the best Halloween movie since the original.😁👍
I went to see "Halloween" 40 years ago when I was just in High School. I though it was so good and saw it several times in the theater. But I never would have believed it would become the classic and spoken of so fondly after so many years. I loved the Panaglide shots when projected on a large movie screen. No matter how large your wallscreen is, it can't compare to a real large movie screen. It had a wonderful "you-are-there" feel to it that is now lost on a smaller TV screen. I loved the music score. Unfortunately John Carpenter messed up the music for DVD home video. He went back and put these awful music overlays on top of the original score. He even put a thumping disco beat over the opening credit music which destroys the original Halloween mood. If possible, get the blu-ray 35th Anniversary of "Halloween". It is the only home video that can be programmed to play the original mono track which is much better than Carpenters shrill overlays. CHEERS!!!!

I’m so excited for October 19th. Halloween (1978) is my favorite move of all time. When they did the rob zombie remakes I was so let down because they got so far away from the original and made Michael look so different. When I saw they were coming out with another Halloween with the original actors and Carpenter I was pumped! Nothing compares to the original. It will always be the best Halloween film. Of course next to the 2nd movie. Can’t wait.

OK John Carpenter is a great director but its well known that sometimes he can be an asshole too, its just part of his ego and personality.
He just likes to be sarcastic and play dumb and not give straight answers.
He seems like a very likable guy, except at 9:50 where he seems to get rather annoyed at Michael's middle name question for no real reason, or maybe it's just me.

I gotta say it, I absolutely LOVE this new movie! It's simply amazing. Such a fine movie and all involved should be very very proud. I litteraly was on the edge of my seat during this movie. I kinda got the same feeling that I got watching the original Halloween many years ago. Halloween and Black Christmas are my favorite horror movies of all time and to be honest this new Halloween does things the way that made those old horror movies so great. I can strongly recomend this movie to anyone who has a love of movies in general. Really really good film.

Micheal Myers was 21 40 years ago. He should be around 61. Unless, they've changed something for this movie that I'm unaware of. Dr. Loomis mentions it in H2 when he's talking to the dentist trying to ID that burned body. We all know who it turned out to be but anyway, like I said it was mentioned in H2 so I don't know if they're sticking w/that age or not.
I kind of hope he isn't 78. I don't think I like the idea of an 80 year old man walking around stalking people. Lmao! 😂 61 is a little better.
