I've seen some confusion in the comment section (at 2:18 specifically) so I figured I'd clarify right quick: When I say "dodge to the left" I'm telling you to cause your Sparrow to strafe to the left. For example, this is done on M&K by double tapping the "A" key. I'm not telling you to Icarus Dash or use a Hunter Dodge, instead I'm talking about the Sparrow's Dodge itself! So what you want to do is press spacebar to begin the dismount animation, and right afterward, double tap the "A" Key to further push yourself into the Rock, causing you to phase through it! Just wanted to write this comment up right quick as I've had to clarify myself in a few responses (yes I read all my comments!) and I can assure you that this method is indeed still working, and has not been patched. They do have Guided Games, but it's honestly not the best system out there. Having LFG built into the game would be much better, and it blows my mind that it's not already in the game all these years later.

SIDE NOTE TO EVERYONE: you can do the jumping thing once and after u enter the trial of kabir, u can ask a friend to join u, he will spawn at kabir and u can switch characters without doing the sparrow glitch
a awesome tip for anyone who does this with at least 1 friend, if u make it past the loading area and enter the trial of kaber you can have 1 of ur mates stand at the chest and have u change ur character and rejoin him as a new class and u wont have to do the rock glitch and pass it all and with that u can get all three characters of each friend with you a lot easier so u dont have to make the jump mulitple times

Just did this on PS4 on my warlock. Confirmed this still can be done. I’m using strafe glide, and heat rises which helps on the early part where I need to jump up and around to stand on the corner and also on the long jump portion. Overall, died a few times falling into the abyss but eventually made it all the way to the chest for 5 spoils :) Thanks for the guide man
It gives you mods from the raid, so when you eventually do the raid you’ll have the mods for your armor, again “anything related” not the guns or armor.
This is SUPER HELPFUL for new players and anyone that has not got the old exotics. I had good Rng and got Anarchy early on and even Tarrabah (ew) so I am lost on what to do with spoils except save them for when I can buy Fatebringer from the kiosk because after 5000 plus hrs in D2 my experiences with LFG since Beyond Light was released means I will likely die before seeing that Hand cannon in my Loadout. LFG has become so toxic or maybe it always was. I left my clan after too many times I spent hours helping others do things to just have them ignore me like I didn't give my time to help them for no reason. Still, for people that need it this is as good. Thanks for helping people that need it DJF.
@@spoiro1520 It happened to me recently when doing europa bounties. Used my sparrow, and I hit a rock, which somehow moved me underground, and I fell to my death.
USEFUL NOTE: If you don't successfully fall without hitting the ground upon loading the trials area, you can make your way back towards where you came from, jump back in that direction, and at least for me, it instakilled me and spawne dme inside the cave as originally intended.
Note for the sparrow trick. Don’t press the hole left side of your sparrow against the rock or you won’t be able to do the dodge. Make sure you get the back of the sparrow wedges in the corner and have the rest of it out at a slight angle towards that flower next to the rock.
This is a nice glitch- but honestly guys- if you want anarchy- all the encounters up to atheon are simple for pretty much everyone and shouldnt take too long. Farming templar should be pretty fast for spoils too and lots of lfg activity there.
Completely agree! I always encourage others to Raid rather than not, but there's always a percentage of people that dont for one reason or another, and this video is directed at them :)
@@overlord1ful i would agree with you but my teams have wiped probably 50x on atheon...if your team lacks dps or clear communication, hes not easy. Usually a couple of ppl know oracles enough to carry/manage. But its hard to carry in atheon.
This is awesome! I don’t raid at all but I did do a few templar encounters because I got lucky with an lfg group & got vision to drop, Im glad I can get more drops from the free chests because I reallllyyy want a full auto one. ;-;

Can confirm as of 3/18/2022 this still works. It took a couple tries but I eventually got it. If you’re having trouble getting into the kabyr area you can jump back up to the previous area and you’ll hit a load zone. I kept doing it and jumping into the abyss until I finally rezzed in the actual area

Oh my goodness, it takes a while but still working. Each chest 5 spoils = 15 for all chars and 3 per Kalli kill = 9 spoils per week. Thats 24 spoils in one week. Not enough, but better than nothing :D THX bro ...
Just did this with Warlock and Titan (without lion ramparts). I barely play Titan so my movement sucks, but I still found Titan much easier for the backwards jump to get around the barrier and onto the first big platform. 9:30 For the jump at 9:45 I just used thundercrash to get across. I think you could still make it without lions, I'm just impatient. Good video. Thanks :)

Question!? Say you got all or any armor piece for one class, can you use this method to get the armor piece for amother class. For example you got the raid helmet for the Hunter, can you get the raid helmet for you Titan and/or Warlock by using this method?
I know this isn't the reason for the video. But does Blade Barrage actually do decent damage to Atheon or nah? Just asking because you were using it at the start of the vid, I've never tried it.

This video is a great example why I hate Destiny so much, in order to get decent items in the game at all you're forced to do raids or glitch them to get anywhere near the good stuff, in no circumstance should you have to do that to get good items in a looter shooter. I know its not a problem for some people because they have acess to good players and they're probably also friends with them, going onto an LFG server is very awkward especially when the group you find has no idea what the fuck they're doing. I've been playing destiny since year 1 and I've not completed a single raid because of that reason I've soloed the entire game and have done every possible solo quest. I like this game but I don't play it as much as I'd like but my friends don't like this game and don't have the drive I do to progress in it.

Can confirm that it works on Xbox series x. Finally able to do it on my hunter. Max mobilty and lament. Quickfang doesn’t give enough lung while swinging. You fall very fast after getting off your sparrow.
I hit a death wall while doing the jump at 3:10. Have they patched it now or am I doing something wrong? EDIT: I might be jumping into the wrong spot. I'll give it another go. EDIT EDIT: It still works!
@@draconicanomaly8597 Haven't had a chance to give it another try. But after watching my gameplay back to me. At 3:10 you're meant to jump next to that large box that he jumps on at 3:16. I jumped under that box instead of next to it. But I'll try again when I have time.

Assuming that you do this EVERY week with all three characters, you get 15 spoils per week: 240 (spoils to get Anarchy) ÷ 15 (spoils per week) = 16 weeks to get Anarchy :/
I'm a main titan, but I've created my warlock and my hunter just for the spoils. Every reset i search a team with no mic and got the 3 chest ( the third is conflux) + the cheese of kalli on last wish ( you can do it solo) so 15x3 spoil of VoG + 3×2 spoil of kalli cheese ( its very hard on hunter so i can't do it on) = 51 spoils per week You can get your anarchy in 5 week, I've actually 87 spoil so i can just wait 25 days for get it Sorry for my english i'm french😂
That jump at 3:11 isn't there for me, did they fix it with the recent update? Whenever I try to make that jump there's always just extra geometry in the way for me, and I'm going in all the correct places.
Guess they fixed this managed to glitch through but got stuck outside the area didnt load me into next stage. Tried it again and got through im assuming it just unlucky i spawned above the area just easier to lfg it and do the raid
Without lion rampants it's harder - I had to do a sword swing, then a full jump, then another sword swing to get that part. Used that super later, though.

It's like most raid exotics (apart from Anarchy and 1k) it's good in everything but PvE
Super easy to run the raid to grab that with some pleasant randos. Next season will be crossplay, hopefully you find your team.

It is still working! Use the sparrow dodge! Thats the trick.

I'd honestly say Atheon is easy as well. Oracles would probably be the hardest part of VOG.

For Warlocks you can also just use your super and icarus dash from the first rock to the top of the pillar
And Hunter, void, the multi-shot super.

It helps to use super to do the hard jump. Use the improved dash to clear the distance, that's what I did

I am so happy I do raids now. I used to do these type of methods before, back when I was a shy new light.
After 20 times on the rock thing i get it and start underneath only to hit a deathwall
With 3 characters thats 15 spoils a week, meaning it would take you 16 weeks or 4 months to get anarchy 🤨
Just delete a character and do it infinitly

Use the Exotic Armor, Shards of Galanore, and Blade Barrage becomes VERY good

I aligned myself with the rock and just tried over and over again to strafe left and jump. It eventually worked.
I did raids on d1 , now I’m 24 with a baby and wife on d2 and I have no friends to do raids anymore :(

You can get the Chest with the invisible wall just glitch it just like You did at the beggining to get under map use the sparrow

I was able to make it to the loading zone, but it spawned me on top of the geometry instead of the cave.. Any ideas?

Can confirm that it works on Xbox series x. Finally able to do it on my hunter. Max mobilty and lament. Quickfang doesn’t give enough lung while swinging. You fall very fast after getting off your sparrow.
And completed on a titan. Warlock is next.

what is the difference doing this on master difficulty? Can you still get regular vog weapons, if the time lost variants aren't in your loot pool?

Thats dumb. Just get an LFG, do the first 3 chests. It takes like 10-15 minutes, you don't even need a mic.

I hit a death wall while doing the jump at 3:10. Have they patched it now or am I doing something wrong?

@@draconicanomaly8597 Haven't had a chance to give it another try. But after watching my gameplay back to me. At 3:10 you're meant to jump next to that large box that he jumps on at 3:16. I jumped under that box instead of next to it. But I'll try again when I have time.

Gave up after 20 minutes trying to glitch through the rock, for the life of me simply couldn't do it. Maybe it's been patched.

Assuming that you do this EVERY week with all three characters, you get 15 spoils per week: 240 (spoils to get Anarchy) ÷ 15 (spoils per week) = 16 weeks to get Anarchy :/
I'm a main titan, but I've created my warlock and my hunter just for the spoils. Every reset i search a team with no mic and got the 3 chest ( the third is conflux) + the cheese of kalli on last wish ( you can do it solo) so 15x3 spoil of VoG + 3×2 spoil of kalli cheese ( its very hard on hunter so i can't do it on) = 51 spoils per week
You can get your anarchy in 5 week, I've actually 87 spoil so i can just wait 25 days for get it

It is easier to go LFG and complete first two encounters no mic needed.
Can confirm as of 7/20 this still works. Got the Sniper and 5 tokens. NOTE: you will only get gear you have seen drop before from a boss chest.
That jump at 3:11 isn't there for me, did they fix it with the recent update? Whenever I try to make that jump there's always just extra geometry in the way for me, and I'm going in all the correct places.
@@Adamantian9 The whole route is still there. I do it weekly and got it again today. Just have to try a few angles till it works.

Guess they fixed this managed to glitch through but got stuck outside the area didnt load me into next stage. Tried it again and got through im assuming it just unlucky i spawned above the area just easier to lfg it and do the raid

Controlled glide gives you way more distance than burst.
How are y’all doing it I keep on going in the wall jumping out going back in the vehicle jumping out again and it hasn’t been working
As a Titan I can’t make the jump to the rock after you sparrow glitch it’s so painful lmao
Edit: only I could was using missile ultimate
Without lion rampants it's harder - I had to do a sword swing, then a full jump, then another sword swing to get that part. Used that super later, though.
