This is what happens when a team celebrates early. Mentally the players are already out having dinner and planning their evenings. Meanwhile, the other team is still playing, and by the time your team wakes up and realizes "hey, we might actually lose this game", their focus is shot, their heads are no longer in the game, theyre playing not to lose rather than to win, and the team simply implodes. That said, when a good team has a loss like this, it's not always a bad thing. I'm old enough to remember when the '86 Celtics, arguably the best NBA team ever, blew a 25 point 3rd qtr lead on Christmas Day against a lousy Knicks team, and lost in double-OT. That game was the Celtics' wake-up call, and they went 46-8 the rest of the season and won the NBA Championship.

Coach was correct on them being complacent but she needed to keep her team focused. Chicago played them tough the game before or did she forget that?
