Thank You Sir.that is a sharp tractor and your work matches it.looks awsome.my concern is the k an n will work for pulling.but for field work i would no entertain the idea.maybe mount a 8640 or 8850 filter on the side the heck with hiding it.far to nice an much work to risk it.beauty to behold.
Seems like 200 horse or a little more would make him a happy man and not destroy the tractor. Beautiful job you guys did installation. Be couris to see if it stays together. Again beautiful work Bill and company.
Hey Burt! I agree, but this guy always wants too much power, he has a Peterbuilt he hauls with that has been turned up to 1,100 hp, had to have it turned down to 900 so the head gasket would hold.
Wowsers, that’s downright purty! I’d like to say I’m interested in the other set up, but I better go out and buy a few lottery tickets before I run off at the mouth! I would love to see a solid 150 hp out of our 4240. Bless’ns to ya’s, Tedd
Hey Tedd! That set up would give you 150 hp, but you may have to put bigger tips on your injectors to get the most out of it. I'll let you know what the man would like to get for it, or we could just build one for you.
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 Alrighty Bill, let me know if Scratch Offs will be sufficient or if I need to step up to the Super Lottery or whatever it’s called!🤔🤣 All kidding aside, probably not in the budget, but it doesn’t hurt to know the numbers. Again I bid you Bless’ns, Tedd
Bill curious why on the intake pipe from the k&n filter to the turbo the pipe is choked down so small!? Looks to be plenty of room around to where the filter will sit!?
That's a really nice setup and design. Where did you find those thermostat housings? That system of water pipes is better than the original aluminum housings
It's farther away than it looks, but after your comment we took some temp. readings and it's not getting any hotter than the coolant that's traveling through it. So we left it as is for now.
Hey Tyler, sorry it took so long to get back to you, I was trying to get the size from the boys, they are the ones that built it. They can't remember if they were 1.25" or 1.5", it's been a while, and they've done a lot of projects since then.
So wanting to farm too... That means a farm stick class.... Changed pump Change turbo,no more t04....lol Typical deere guys, can't run with a model 100 in a farm class. This ain't super farm ,? Why not just bolt a 8.1,p pump from wimer, and a harts 3x3 on it,
Hey Bill,,,that turbo setup is a work of art!! Nicely done.
You and your "Boys"/Sons are some amazing blue collar diesel engine Engineers! Great job.
Thank you very much!
Great job! Can’t wait to see it on the dyno and tractor pulling!
Nice looking job. She should be nasty. Definitely more than 110 horsepower now. Thanks for sharing the video Bill.
Looks like lots of great ideas. Thank you very much for sharing
Thanks for watching!

Looks real nice.
Awesome job !!
You and your boys do fabulous work that is amazing. May God bless you and your family always in Jesus name Amen 🙏 🙌
Awesome video keep them coming
Bill curious why on the intake pipe from the k&n filter to the turbo the pipe is choked down so small!? Looks to be plenty of room around to where the filter will sit!?
It may look small, but it's a full 4 inches in diameter, the flange for the filter is 6".
Wow, great work 👍🏼🇺🇸
So talented
Great video
That's a really nice setup and design. Where did you find those thermostat housings? That system of water pipes is better than the original aluminum housings
Hey Corey! We got 'em from Summit Racing Equipment.
Will you have beef up the clutch. Looks beautiful
Yes I will!
Very nice.
Hi Bill!! What kind of heat shield are you going to have between the exhaust elbow and the coolant hoses?
It's farther away than it looks, but after your comment we took some temp. readings and it's not getting any hotter than the coolant that's traveling through it. So we left it as is for now.
I’d be interested in your piping kit for a stock 4240 I have 5 hole injectors in mine smokes like a freight train. A turbo kit would help

What size thermostat housing are those? 1.25 inch?

We have a turbo on ours I have a video of it on my you tube
Is the turbo a sxe300 ?
Yes it is.
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 in your opinion does the SXE series out performance the SE series?
Wrong color setup for me. I don’t think my rods would handle the boost anyway
We've turboed some 4 cyl. gas orange ones! Never bent a rod, but we blew the whole crank and main caps out the bottom of the block!
Did 1 8yrs ago 650+HP better do the clutch while you're at it.
Agreed!

any suggestions on a turbo-injection pump set up for a 354 perkins to get maximum horsepower?
An S200 turbo and an A inline pump would work well.
@@so.md.dirtfarmer2226 can you inline pump one of those ?
