What you know is worth more than any checking account, Bill. It would be a lot of fun seeing you whup some of those "rich" ones just by using what you have, both mechanical and intellectually. You know that a man's wealth isn't always in the bank. 👍👍
Bill, I enjoy watching you work with all you have, and history of the ole pulling tractor, I’m learning from your experience and knowledge thanks for sharing and what you’re doing, God Bless
Hey, Bill! This is Carl Wilkins, the gentleman you talked to at the Hampshire County Fair in Augusta. I’d just like to thank you for taking the time out of your night to talk to me and my wife and sister-in-law. I really appreciated that.
Hey Carl! It was great to meet y'all, I very much enjoyed our visit, I hope we can have a little longer chat next time. And Carl, don't hesitate to drop by sometime when you're in the area.
30 years of pulling stock tractors I get asked why I don't have something hotter. I want to be able to farm with everything I own. I enjoy watching your videos
Love you Bill! I wish you would run with the big boys! I guarantee you they buying their stuff and you could clean their plow, as daddy usta say. God bless you and your family
Thanks for sharing these videos Bill. I enjoy watching and learning from you. Enjoy the history of your tractors and how pulling was back years ago. That's what has taught you and how you are able to build better things now days that have more power. I understand you using what you have and enjoying running it. Yes sir you can't blow your farm money on a pulling tractor. I am doing the same as I close on the 12th on a small farm in South West Virginia. I'll be there in 4 more years when I retire. God Bless Y'all.
I’ve been one piece at a timing my ol 686 for 2 years now and I’m still not finished. I’m doing it all myself and doing without taking food off my table. Mr Bill if you are having fun that is all that counts. I wish I had the knowledge you have sir. I enjoy hearing what you have to say and if someone has a problem with you being mouthy in your young age (see what I did there) then they don’t have to watch you. I enjoy every video I’ve seen so far. I’m a couple years older than you I think (34) but we were cut from the same sheet of rust. I play banjo and have a passion for old tractors. Keep on keepin on ol buddy and let the rough end drag
Hey IH Guy! That's great, what you're doin', and the way you're doin' it. I wish someone local here would have built a triple 6 or 686, I always liked 'em. We do seem to be torched from the same sheet of steel, maybe opposite ends(color wise). And it's gratifying to Know even you slightly older guys still find some interesting info on my channel.
Your working on the stuff that makes you happy and that's all that matters! You ever heard of a fellar named E.J. Potter, a local legend from central Michigan? He wrote a book " Michigan Madman" if you get a chance look it up and read it sometime, you will enjoy it, probably even get a chuckle or two from it! Really enjoy your channel, thanks!
Another good informational video. I enjoy your channel, and although it would be great to see you build a modern pulling tractor, I would much prefer to see you loading up the tractor & trailers for your move to Tennessee and a new farm.
I think what you do with what you have is really cool an very interesting your work is what the american is all about love your channel you will have to come to iowa for real take care
Do you have room for double turbine wheels in the housing ? I know a couple of JD pullers that did this. I don't know if it helps or not never tried it on a Dyno

If it makes you happy that's all that counts you don't have to justify it to anyone.

Hey Dan! I have some drawings of a design like that, but have never gotten off the paper.
Did you ever pull against a Deutz called underdog or sneeki Pete? Pulled by Ron syster
Yes, they were tough to beat!
How can I get in touch with you about the MH 44???
Hey Art! You can find our # on the Grimes Engineering web site. grimesengineering.net
I know what you mean about the money. Parts these days are expensive. I think our turbo cost $5200.00 .
Yeah, the cost to really compete in the sanctioned pulls is too much for me right now.
