Watching you make this has me captivated. Please make more of these videos. You’re an excellent teacher! I think this could become an integral part of your channel. Absolutely loved this! Take care and thank you!😊🇨🇦
Wow, Katie, thanks for showing how you do this. I'm 70 years old and when I was 22 I learned how to silversmith. A class was held by the minister of the local methodist church. I went to the group for over a year learning. Then I continued on, on my own for years. As a class project, I even taught my two children how to make a ring. My tools have been unused now for about 30 years! It was so fun to watch you. Your methods and supplies are much better than what I had. I didn't have a ring chart I just hammered out the size on the mandrel. Your rings are so beautiful! Oh, and I just want to add that I was taught to put a very small amount of very fine sawdust under the stone before you seal it in with the bezel. Have you ever heard of that? Like I said, this was many years ago where I learned from an old minister.
One of my sterling silver rings has a break in it. It simply has a split underneath the silver band on the round part nobody even sees. To me, it looked like a simple fix but the jeweler I brought it to said he couldn't fix it because he was afraid he'd burn the stone part on top. It's porcelain, hand painted from Holland, not a gem. I still want it fixed.
Wouldn’t these make a perfect gift for bridesmaids gifts or graduation friend gifts! Such a great video. I wish I knew how to do all of this. My diamonds were put in a most hideous lug nut ring setting after I was married for about ten years. We’ve always regretted it and wish we could put it back in the original setting. Tough to find someone to trust again in my area. I’ve thought of taking classes so I could do it myself!
Katie, I ordered a ring from you for my six year old granddaughter about a year ago. It is beautiful and one of her prized possessions. She told me that this was a real ring. I said, yes it was and made by a real person not a machine. She loves the ring.
That is so cool, Katie! I have always wanted to see the process of ring making. You are so talented. Thanks for sharing your jewelry making skills. The ring turned out really pretty.Hope you and Cory have a wonderful weekend. Hugs from the southeast coast of Florida 😎🦩🇺🇸🦩😎
Awesome! Great Job Katie! Thank you so much for taking the time to show us this process. I love the ring you made for me. God Bless you and yours. Melissa Faith, Liberty, KY
My husband & I always found it such an interesting thing, doing lapidary. We had a dear friend who did this, and he made all sorts of jewelry items, but his favorite was bolo tie clasps. Thank you for sharing the many steps to make a ring from start to finish! Just beautiful. ❤
It is so fascinating to me how things like this are made. Thank you for showing your process, Katie! I love that you showed all of the steps 🙂 It looks like a lot of fun, and as always I hope that you do more videos on what you make in the future! Thank you, and God bless 🙏
Hello miss Katie, you are the rock star, I'm impressed the ring looked like it was purchased at the finest jewelry store. Talented, talented, talented. I really enjoyed watching you create that little gem. keep on keeping on God bless.

What a wonderful surprise! It was fun to see all of those steps and your great attention to detail. It's a fascinating process. I can better see why you love rocks and enjoy making jewelry. It'd be easy to concentrate so much on what you're doing that you lose yourself in the work and the day is gone before you know it. It must be very rewarding to see the beautiful result and think about how much enjoyment the wearer will get from what you've created for them. What a special gift God has blessed you with.
It was really interesting to watch you make a beautiful ring right before our eyes. You made it look easy, but I know better. I have tried making jewelry It takes a lot of control (temper) so we will just say you have mastered the making of jewelry. God bless you and your family and Olive.
I absolutely LOVED this video. Every process was so interesting & informative. I've had a love of how things are made since our school took a field trip to a bread factory & a candy cane making factory when I was about 10 years old. That was about 70 years ago & I've never lost that love for how things are made. I would love to see more of your jewelry making videos. You are awesome at what you do. Hugs!
I bought my daughter a set if the 3 stackable rings you made for Christmas and they were beautiful and she absolutely loves them and she's been telling all her friends where she got them so I'm hooeing they will order from you too..God Bless you and your family..we love all your and your mommas videos

So fascinating to watch your process. I worked for Colonial Williamsburg’s Silversmith shop in the late 70’s. This process brought back memories of some of the steps we did for 18th century jewelry making. Not much has changed. You are very talented Katie! ✨💖
Great video Katie you are a true jeweler and you have a way with rings and you have lovely hands I know it has to be hard to do this work on jewelry and sometimes monotonous but you seem to really do well thank you and please be safe .
Wow, Katie 😯 This was an amazing video‼️ I've always wondered how people make jewelry. It does, however, look like there are a lot of tools and gadgets involved in the process, which I could image add up in costs fast. I am very intrigued though, and am definitely going to look into it. Thank you so much for sharing this process with us ❣️ You are a very inspiring woman ❤️
