    Another great topic - addressing weaknesses with different grip or positions. I might watch 20 of your chest workout videos but every single one of them has another special and key point that you make. Your expertise in bodbuilding and what you share is second to none, and I researched ALOT these past 2 years. Hundreds if not thousands of videos....nothing better to do while mindless drafting :)

    I learned a long time ago that we are all anatomically built different. What may work for one can hurt another. Everyone needs to find their own path in this sport and stick with what works for you .

    Thanks John ... just started watching your videos ... I like how you talk about technique relative to injuries and how to prevent injuries.
    I followed your advice on triceps and elbow injuries and it has helped me so much building up in the right sequence before taking on the heavier weights.

    Love to have you make videos on safety tips, and how best to handle heavy dumbbells safely etc. And what is the percentage of the dumbbell weight compared to the barbell weight ratio that is best? Taking your advice and warming up with dumbbells first now before benching.

      Normally you should handle 80% of your barbell weight with dumbell

    James is looking huge! I’ve found myself moving to a more neutral grip on the DB presses lately, felt like less stress on the shoulder. Pumped to hear it’s not all in my head lol thanks for the awesome videos John!

    I need to try those neutral grip dumbbell presses. I typically have to back off shoulder and chest training as I get pain in the front delt/shoulder area. My form is better than when I was lifting back in the military days, but I think these could be a savior. Looking forward to pushing some new heavier sets in the future. Thanks again John!

    I really couldn’t feel my upper chest getting worked with normal incline db press but then started my 4 set with the neutral grip and I felt the upper chest activation real quick, all thanks to mr meadows💯🙏🏽🦍💪🏽

    Great, informative update as always!
    If I'm trying to bring up my "upper pecs" to focus on lagging muscle groups, should I replace the decline dumbbell press for a standard incline dumbbell press and then still do the neutral grip incline press thereafter?

    What do you recommend for incline and flat bench combo? I'm pressed for time....I seen another gentlemen recommend putting a plate or two under the bench to hit both areas of your chest. Thank you

    I do incline db chest press and I do feel a LOT in chest, naturally, but also a good deal in shoulders. What do I do?

    Wen ever I do DB bench presses I always keep my arms at a 45° degrees angle know I find that's the best way to truly target the pectoral major without involving too much off the anterior delt compared to keeping ur arm's straight

    If you would have pick one exercise for chest would it be incline bench press that would be my guess at a 30 to 45 degree angle

    John,
    I noticed my front felt on my right shoulder is getting tight after running creeping death 2.0 from all the pressing movements . What other exercises besides the neutral incline DB press would you suggest during a deload? Cable flies ?
    Will have to jump to another program in a few weeks after CD 2.0!

      just drop barbell presses for 2 weeks, get some ART done on that area,and you'll be tip top

    i agree with the lower rep ranges for chest hypertrophy, 6-10. seems to be optimal for chest based on research from mike israetel

    Why u dont do extra reps whn u are capable of doing those extra reps! Isnt it more beneficial to grow more muscle? Because it seems u dont even use 70% of ur power.

      @@mountaindog1 6 to 8 reps sometimes u reach 9 but still if iam there i would push u to do 12 even 15 reps !! Maybe the last set i would let it go with 6 to 8 reps with heavy wieghts...
