    Never got a chance to say this but this series is the best best all around instruction on powerlifting, you guys saved me from injuries, frustrations and made my crossfit experience much enjoyable and safe. Thank you so much.

      It's a running joke they have because of what they discussed in another video. If you touch someone you have to say that so it's not sexual harassment lol because of what came to light in another lifting program. It's funny if you get the background.

      @@jass9571 makes me tired looking at it. I have a person I train and when doing deadlift to observe I squat in the same position Max Montana is in right there. Not my favorite but I need it to correct if needed.

    In the clean starting position video, you specifically emphasize on knees being in advance of the bar. While over here the knees advance the bar as well but you don't talk about it. Does this mean knees coming in advance of the bar is not as important in Snatch as it is in Clean?

    Thoughts on how wide the feet should be? Some lifters snatch with close feet (Klokov...) others very wide (Lu Xiaojun). Different schools or just body anatomy?

    • @vteam02
      @vteam02 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Anatomy

    • @JordanWallac3
      @JordanWallac3 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      experiment
      see what your strongest snatch pulling stance is
      use that

    • @Vash854
      @Vash854 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The closer they are the taller you will be and you'll have a longer movement which is desirable in the snatch, with heavy weight those small height gains will make a big difference, so I'd think as narrow as possible without being uncomfortable is more ideal.

    • @joe718gt4
      @joe718gt4 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Everybody's made good points. I've gone from super wide and now am very narrow. Anatomy and technique are your biggest criteria. A coach will help you determine optimal positioning, but the fundamentals will remain the same

    Some say the bar should be at the toes not mid foot, any thoughts on this?

    is there any difference other than grip compared to the Clean starting position?

    Excuse me sir, I can't sit stable while the bar over my head is because I wearing basketball shoes or is about my form?

    • @joe718gt4
      @joe718gt4 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Michele Padovano one other thing. Keep the bar close to you by actively engaging the lats. There may be some JTS videos on this. The bar shouldn't dangle far from you
