My biggest tip (though you can't really rely on tips at DODMERB as its not necessarily a "skill" to pass the medical) is to get it done during the summer or early during the school year. Minimal to no stress from academic work really made a difference to my blood pressure lol. I was reading on the higher end on my physicals for sports and general check ups, but bc of the more stress-free nature of summer, I wasn't stressing and thus my BP readings were lower. Any applicants in the future take note of this: EARLY EARLY EARLY! Earlier the better, and if they need more information for your remdial, there's far more time for you to submit said information.
This is so helpful. My daughter is a freshman in HS. She has a TREE NUT (cashew really) allergy. We discovered it when she was 13. Is there something we can do now with her doctor to clarify her records? Would there be a benefit to do the allergy challenge tests in hopes she will outgrow this allergy? They offered us allergy challenges but because it requires so much time missed from school we didn’t do it. She just avoids cashews. We have plenty of time so I want to use this time wisely.
If your records are property of the US government, such as active duty and VA, then yes, DODMERB could have access to those. The point is, to be honest in everything you do; this way, you have a clear conscience, and you avoid the chance of your condition being labeled as "EPTS" - existed prior to service, which could lead to a fraudulent enlistment charge.

Does DoDMERB have access to civilian records like MEPS does with MHS Genesis?
Where can I find the DD Form 2807-2 that you said would be in the comments?
Here's the DODMERB regulations: www.esd.whs.mil/Portals/54/Documents/DD/issuances/dodi/613003_vol1.PDF?ver=7fhqacc0jGX_R9_1iexudA%3D%3D

Vincent, thanks for the note. We suggest you schedule a free consultation to discuss in detail. Great job reaching out proactively!
Very helpful thank you
You’re very welcome!
Would they look up medical records from army if you were active duty like prior service
