Has anyone done that? Damaged the ship so the reactor will blow? Then get out and try to feed it to an angler? If that does something, I'd be pleasently surprised.
Fun fact (I didn't know this until a bit later): When the alarm goes off, the reactor is just starting to explode. Usually you have 10-15 seconds to repair it. It's the thing beside the purple energy crystal that's on the ship.
@@B2Roland The reactor is on the inside of the ship... He immediately hopped *out* of the ship. I don't see any evidence he was doing anything other than abandoning ship.

I won't lie, my first attempt to repair the reactor was also to jump out and run around the ship until it eventually exploded and flung me into a wall, resulting in an instant death lol. Took me a little while to realize it was actually *inside* the thing.

@@heliothrax7716 no, even if it should since in-game the loop stops, if you die after deactivating the ATP you just get sent back to your last save point (aka your last loop before deactivating it)

And lo and behold an angler fish appeared that I have NEVER seen before right before one of the seeds and killed me…I was so mad
Did you know the Hearthian on Giants Deep youcan teach you to “meditate” which skips to the start of the next cycle?? You did?? Well I didn’t. Fell into Brittle Hollow with just my suit, missed White Hole Station, and attempted to make it back to Timber Hearth. Took a long time to suffocate in the black void
Once I accidentally smashed into Dark Bramble and got bodily thrown out of my ship somehow. Ended up floating in space until I ran out of oxygen in shock.
If anything, you’re lucky imagine all the things that didn’t go wrong. Like you could have… Or maybe you might have… no What about if you…? I mean you could have… uhh… hm.. Yeah, you know what? Never mind..
yes and no, yes if you accelerate the ship and hop off they eat the ship and not you, but the alarm is internal , they wont go after the alarm but the thrusters. I am unsure if the explosion produces a sound that the angler fish is programmer to listen to tho.
@@DidierLoiseauI recently watched someone play through it and they didn't get teleported out immediately. I think they left the escape pod area and went back into the first area. Was definitely confused why it didn't lead directly back to space
I had this happen when I was landing on the Q Moon. Landing was going normally, then the ship Source-Engine-Glitched me in and out of the terrain and everything lit up. I forgot that the reactor should ALWAYS be your first priority and went outside to deal with the electronics... and then it all blew up.
It crossed my mind first playthrough that the Eye of the Universe would end up being a giant anglerfish. The game seemed unpredictable to me halfway through lol
On the plus side, the fish that you'd aggro'd in Vessel seed just yeeted you. (If you immediately went back to red seed even in suit then...well, I can guess waht happened next)
My guess is they previously ran away from one of the fish inside that seed node. They retain their position, so when they tried to go back in, the fish was right at the entrance and basically tail swiped the ship back out in its attempt to eat it.

I ended breaking my ship in half when bringing a certain item to a certain place without actually blowing up my ship. I was like hull breach? Guess ill go fix it got up and turned around to discover half my ship was just gone
