I have it on the Switch, so it doesn't list achievements, but I think I finally got everything a few days ago. But for months, I thought I'd gotten everything before finding that one little audio recording underneath the floor in the Vessel's main room. I'm still paranoid that I'm missing something.
I just wanna let you know, that Deep Impact is Intermediate or even at the top of Easy with a guide. Because guess what, you don't need to go super fast. You can wedge your ship below one of the islands when it's flying, it will push you below the current, and still triggering the achievement.
I spent an hour coming up with a formula to make absolute certain I'd hit Giant's Deep at the maximum possible speed, and that was possible all along??? Also, if x= the amount of time you have left in a loop, 0.293x is how long you should spend firing your thrusters away from Giant's Deep before immediately turning around and firing constantly back. If you got 20 minutes left, that accounts for about 5 minutes 51 seconds firing away from Giant's Deep.
Wait, so that's how I got the achievement??? I was so confused at the time, just minding my business on Giant's Deep, trying to explore the underside of the islands, then I got an achievement about entering the core which I'd never done! (I think spent several loops trying to ram the ocean in vain, thinking I was supposed to break through to the core).
Funny how you said harmonic convergence is seemingly impossible normally. Because I did get it by accident during a completely controlled landing that I happened to also have my signalscope active during, and by completely controlled I mean I crashed hard into ember twin by clipping the side of my ship on a cliff and spinning out of control. It just so happened that the planets had aligned along a straight line so I randomly heard a couple seconds of the whole gang playing during the crash
I did harmonic convergence in a very interesting way. I spent one entire loop simply studying the map as each planet orbited the sun, waiting to see when they all line up the best. Then on a subsequent loop, I went into space a little bit further away from the rest of the map and got it.
Im an aerospace engineer8ng lecturer who played a lot of ksp back in the day. I knew the sun station was hard but i didnt realise how hard it was for non aero / space nerds till i kept hearing " i needed a guide for this" over and over in these sorts of vids 😅
Kinda similar for me, though, I am focused more on theoretical physics and not really on space (Analytical mechanics still helps build intuition for orbits!). To me, by far the highest difficulty of the achivement was leaving the ship after I get to the sun station (Since I've managed to get to the sun station around 4/6 tries). Didn't realise how unintuiative orbital mechanics to get into a low-stellar high velocity orbit is for the average person until I saw videos of people trying it.
Knowing that "up and down" and "forwards and backwards" do something totally different when you're in orbit is definitely the point most people seem to have issues with, especially since normally the ship has enough thrust to basically ignore those effects except when in that tight solar orbit. The idea of seeing something in front of you and therefore lightly thrusting backwards to catch up is so counterintuitive if you don't think in orbital periods.
I never played KSP, just have basic engineer knowledge (I'm in last year of an engineer school) and I was very surprised people found this that difficult, you have almost 10 minutes to setup your trajectory and land before the station falls into the sun, and it's very easy to setup a 3,5-4 km orbit, it's very close from the Twins. How is closing in from 3,5km to 2,5km hard ?
I got you'll never take me alive on complete accident because I was trying to run from one and jumped off ledge to where I thought there was a platform. turns out, there wasnt.

I got the rigidbody achievement on accident while exploring. I took me a min to realize what in the world had actually happened. Just a lucky coincidence.
0:41 love that you included SovietWombles play through, highly highly underrated let's play imo
Thanks for giving us 0.2 seconds to read the achievements description
thanks for the passive aggressive comment :)
no but in all seriousness i’ll make sure they’re longer next time
@@ascendium you're welcome.
For me it was missing that talking to Chert at different times will give different dialogue, thus different ship logs.
9:30 I didn't knew it was possible to mark objects through the journal on the first playthrough so I did this route with marking vessel through the seed near escape pod
Great editing ! I think I'm going to spend the next 2h binge watching your content
Harmonic convergence can also be obtained on a very special planet at a certain moment
the last thing i was missing was some late timeloop chert dialogues i looked for so long to know what was missing
My 11 y/o brother got the tubular archievement completely on accident and I think he doesn't even realise how lucky he was
Good video!
I got celsius 232.78 accidentally very early on in dlc, I had seen like three reels and I noticed that some of them were burnt, and that there were buildings labeled with the burning slide reel. So when I went into one of the basements holding a reel and it gave me the option to I was like "ohh that's what you're supposed to do." And then nothing happened. I didn't even know it was an achievement since I was playing on epic games. Meh.
You don't have to stop piloting to press the eject button. Just turn your head (R stick on controller, move your mouse on pc)
I tried using the artefact on a normal camptire, even brought that to Hal, I think they even have an interaction with that, but maybe it was just about the new language.
Harmonic convergence isn't impossible to get normally. I got it totally by accident very early in the game, I don't remember for sure but I think I was looking into the dark bramble seed on Timber Hearth. Ember Twin, Brittle Hollow, Giant's Deep, and the Attlerock must have lined up perfectly just behind it.

Look it was the beginning of the dlc for me and I didn’t know what to do with it and when I saw “drop” I knew I had to
Archaeologist: Teleported to the eye of the universe and completed my log by reading the vessel's final transmission :)
Though I also spent like 35 hours in the game prior to entering dark bramble
Tubular can sucks my nads, at least Archeologist was fun because it let me discover new stuff like the Hearthians being aquatic so they avoided the ghost matter, and dialogue from Chert.
Oh hey that was also the last thing I was missing for my ship log!
As someone who got all the achievements as well I feel your pain :D
And to think I didn’t know how to use teleporters so I learned to manually go there
The way I actually got to the sun station first was actually by manually landing on it and not teleporting there so… :)
Ghosts in the machine and Tubular I'd definitely have put at the top of Hard haha
13:17 You can just use your downwards thrusters to not fall off the raft.
i did do that as well combined with the other technique
Deep Impact becomes much easier if you use a Nomai ship instead of your own!
11:00 I got this one by accident during my first playthrough after several crashs at Brittle Hollow.^^
Archaeologist bugged me because I was missing like one line of dialogue from the sunless city the whole game
micas wrath was the first achievement i got because i was immediately upon first starting playing line wouldn’t it be funny if i held up on this until it respawned and then instead it hit the sun
thr is only two achivements i don't have are around the world in 90 seconds, and tubular
5:24 I actually got this one by accident while on brittle hollow!
I got archeologist by accident by adding some mods, I'm quite glad but now I don't feel like I've done the 100% :c
Teleportation is superior? What would Feldspar think of you?
I was trying to do deep impact just now and I accidentally went straight through giants deep without getting the achievement lol
Wait, landing on the sun station manually is possible? I swear I tried this once and my ship clipped right through the sun station, as if it weren't really there.
3:31 -- Even more embarrassing is calling the shuttle home WHILE your ship is sitting in the canon. (Yes, I did it.) Spoiler Alert: It's not pretty.
Damn callin me out from the start 😅
I got archaeologist on my first run lol
Screw the Giants deep one.
I think those title transitions are a little too fast, or would benefit from you saying them at the same time they're on screen or something
yea i apologize about that, got a little too concerned about wasting the viewer’s time during editing but i’ll make them longer next time if i do a video like this :)
@@ascendium no problem. its clear u put the effort in with the movement effects and sound and all that, I just know from experience that when editing it's easy to shortchange how long it takes people to read text
Yeah, i kept having to rush to pause or have to skip back to read what achievement you were doing, it was a bit annoying
13:04 but nowhere near as fun!
what was the music used in the intro?
both are tracks from the game, one is the main menu theme, and the one after that is timber hearth.
if you're referring to the short intro at the very beginning though, it's not a full song, just a small thing i made :)
Deltarune explosion 2:02
May I suggest, for some other video, reading the section loudly. When my eyes are not on screen, it gets very hard to know what is the achievement exactly, as your voice don’t make it explicit. And even when they are on screen, I don’t always have time to read it fully
yea, i'll make sure that they stay on screen longer or even just read it out next time! i appreciate the feedback :)
0:30 I feel seen.
