Congrats and good content. I await mine and you've helped me to know what to anticipate. I'm not a content creator but a heavy downloader and uploader. I'll see how this reflects especially when using the Ethernet adapter which I included in my kit. Let us know how it performs when you're home away from home. Thank You.
i mainly got the starlink for upcountry use when i'll finish my construction there , but in the meantime i want to just test it out in different locations and applications so i can decide whether to keep using it in the urban setting or just let go of it
mahn, si you try prep yourself for these shoots and familiarize yourself with the router and setup before shooting the video, this was painful/stressing to watch,si kwa ubaya but unakaa msee wa mushatha, prep yourself prior for quality content!!!!,meanwhile, nangoja upload ya anker....improve and keep keeping!!!

Well inkenya you have the ksh 1300 package but has a 50gb cap, the ksh 6500 residential package which is unlimited, the ksh 8000 business package , and the ksh 14,000 roaming package which isn’t locked to one location
Well, you should have hidden the dish under your bed and try and connect How you trying to hide the dish so your neighbors wouldn't know and yet trying to connect Clear view of the sky is a key requirement but you're trying hard to do the opposite
So the price has been ksh 29,999 for the past two weeks , but today after Safaricom complaining about the competition to the communications authority the price is back to ksh 45,500
As for reliability, the Starlink is really quite reliable for the most part, especially if your needs lean on the download part of things , the upload is a bit hit or miss cz you get an average of 15-20mbps
@@African_josh By the way i read on the net that it has a range of 185M which makes me tempted to install at my shags, (nanyuki) and share with 10 homesteads then have them pay. Currently, the internet providers here are jokers with constant breakdowns. People here don't have many gadgets. Would this be viable. I can convince them, what i don't know is if it strong to accomodate 10 homesteads.. There could be atleast 50 phones in 10 homesteads.. No computers may be smart tvs. Thanks.
I’m hoping it becomes congested because that will push for even better innovation from Starlink and other game players , which is good for us consumers
Badala ya kuwaste pesa on devices designed for wazungu, save and invest pesa ununue shamba gicagi where Starlink will be more useful to you. Acha kuishi kwa apartment kama bachelors wa Pipeline

I think the position where your dish was is what gave you challenges. Mine took 5min tops.

What are typical broadband and mobile 4G speeds in Nairobi?
What is the reason for you getting Starlink?
Basically you get what you pay for from 5mbps to 100mbps on home internet and over 200mbps on 5g cellular

That’s the anker solix 300w portable power device , you can get one locally on electronic shops or Amazon
@@African_josh thanks!
You should have run the speedtest after the update. The update was also taking bandwidth.
Hi after purchase, do you need to make monthly payments?
Hahaha of course
Yes you pay monthly
where can i get the Anker powerbank?
You can get it locally in Nairobi or import it

About 870,000.
