Cloud land truck trail over in san Bernardino is a nice easy trail. It eventually forks but both exits spit you out onto highway 18. I usually enter the trail at badger canyon road. I believe it can get some snow in the winter but its California there's hardly any snow to begin with. It's also has beautiful views at night. but some obvious advice always try to do a trail during the day before attempting to do it at night. In other words don't explore a new trail for the first time at night. Also close to that area is bailey canyon rd, it's another easy trail but longer and leads high into the mountains you can take the trail all the way to Crest line.

Did the cleghorn trail this past summer (2020) and the fire road has some pretty decent size ruts. Wouldn't recommend 2WD go alone. Although I completed the Fire Road in 2WD, I do have a locking differential which definitely helped. Also be prepared to leave with plenty of pinstripes.
