I got stuck there in Feb 2003 after a Northwest Reservation agent couldn't read flight loads right. Not much going on.....but did enjoy a few beers and the company at the Longbranch connected to the hotel.
How amazing at Gimli at AC 764 co pilot knew the emergency landing field from gliding experience and wonderful landing by captain and saved that plane for sure in 1983

To the Embraer pilots: is this kind of Yoke comfortable to steer? Or is it even better than the classic yokes you can find on a Boeing e.g. What do you think?
Hayrullah Ceylan - The shape of the yoke is very quickly forgotten. What is REALLY horrible about the 190 is the non-linear (centre bias/full effect when not centre) loading, ‘Bullworker’ strength springs on the ailerons, the only non fly-by-wire control in the aircraft.
Pre load 27 I notice. Not that you will find 27.2 much better. VNAV is still crap but go-arounds are slightly better. I’m also amazed you have written your own checklists and that you didn’t do a visual.

Excellent ride, first time seeing Saskatoon. The controller's "amber or embar" for the EMB was a new one but it makes sense.
My hometown too. The name of the particle accelerator that the captain mentions is the synchrotron.
You should do this flight again in the summer, much nicer scenery
