Been to Stoke a few times now and quite enjoy it. Last time i was there, the staff there said they are due kart upgrades in the middle of this year or so, and they are looking at doing something with the downstairs surface.
Whats making you slower is your steering. You keep turning a lot and then turning the other way because of that. You need to continuously turn without going back and forth with the steering. It helped me so it should help you. 😃 LOVE UR VIDEOS
Not sure how far away it is for you but you should check out gridline Lincoln, it’s been redone recently and the karts are rapid. Would love to see a vid at my local track, love the vids man
They have re done the track surface recently and have added grippy paint on the out side of some corners theres much more grip now and some new karts wich feel much quicker
I went there yesterday, only the 2nd time I have ever been karting, and the previous time was about 10 years ago anyway (at Warrington) 😂. I had a great time and really want to do more. Even if I was one of those slow backmarkers several seconds off the pace.
Nothing amazing to be honest, I couldn't really push that thing faster than a 37 that time. My PB was from the first time I came here and even that was only a 36.7 😬
Local Stoke guy here if you ever come back I can give you some tips on the track. Small note the grip tape isn’t exactly where the main line is in some places.
Also the 50 lap races never run. So do the Thursday events due to not enough members. Monday Night Social however has a decent number of drivers along with some of the best ones.

As someone who lives in stoke and loves a bit of rental karting, I've been to this place once and never returned. Warrington and daytona tamworth are just so much better
Because it's springtime in England 🤣 weather's been diabolical lately and for the time being I'm a bit limited in terms of how I can travel. I'll go to some outdoor tracks soon, I've got a few in mind.

As a teamsport marshal myself, its a bloody miracle u wernt black flagged for a couple of those. *About the karts. Teamsport are pretty much refusing to make new petrol karts so unless the track is electric, thwy wont be getting new karts. The better tracks get priority eith new karts and the worse ones unfortunately are keft with the shitty karts, not the mechs fault or ahything theyre just old and require way to much eork to bring then up to speed.
Not only that but the Evo3 Petrol karts are heavier and slower than the Evo2's. I was working at Birmingham when we got the new karts and immediately track times were down by over 5 or 6 seconds. I have yet to go back to see whether the karts have bedded in. They were grippy as hell but were very heavy.
