Just heard the album version for what feels like the first time and idk this version just hits different. Was obsessed with this video years ago. Takes me back!
I feel this. I know that most of my family won't see this. Song to me is alcohol. I have been done wrong by so many people. And so many family members and an ex husband said "you did this to yourself". I am tired of drinking to be perfect.
I remember when i first saw these guys when they were brand spankin new, they were opening for Say Anything and Saves the day in Tampa. They played a quick four song set off of lavlac... I can barely breathe, Wolves at night, Where have you been, and now that your home. they put the other bands to shame. Even though you could probably count the number or people who had even heard of them on one hand we still screamed out the lyrics, and the guys really seemed stoked about it haha
still luv it in 2021. met em at 97x backyard bbq way back. or maybe it was 97x next big thing. too many concerts in my life & at 47 yrs old, im still goin. 2 concerts. tampa FL has awesum shows!!!!!!!!!
This makes me miss jamming big time. Simply Awesome performance of this song!! I only hope these guys are at Gold Coast BDO next year :) Unfortunately my prayers were not answered last year.
Andy Hull is SO talented. It really is amazing how he can switch sounds from Manchester Orchestra to Bad Books. Manchester Orchestra is purely rock where as Bad Books sounds a bit more like pop. Both bands are amazing in their own way!!
Great upload! I went back to the Transmissions page and it's no longer up. I just discovered these guys...better late than never, I suppose. This reminds me of some early Radiohead, ca. The Bends.
@Brownieofthunder He most likely is running a program like Pro Tools or the like to run loops or distorsions of the keyboard riffs. If not that he he could be recording the session. Just guesses though, without seeing the monitor it too hard to be sure.
@lespaulnasty31 He was born in 1979 so that would make him 31 years old. If you just look at him you can tell he's obviously not a teenager or even in his early 20's. : )
Try Everything to Nothing, I Can Feel a Hot One, Apprehension, Simple Math I like but I can understand if you wouldn't. April Fool is pretty good. Wolves at Night, The Neighborhood is Bleeding are goods as well. Hope this helps
32 now and I remember this from high school. 16 years later and I still get all crazy with it. Sweet!
Literally same.
Class of 08 checking in and wishing you equally zany times jamming out to this present day
Same except I'm 33 now.

I enjoy this more than the album version for sure. The guys on drums are loving it. The album version is lacking what this one gives
One of my all-time favorite songs!
I feel this. I know that most of my family won't see this. Song to me is alcohol. I have been done wrong by so many people. And so many family members and an ex husband said "you did this to yourself". I am tired of drinking to be perfect.

I get goosebumps when that guy from the 80's jumps in on the drums...

Two drummers!! sick!!!
I adore Right Away, Great Captain. Andy Hull is an all-round genius :)
Now these are musicians!
This goes for the full MySpace transmissions but Andy was like 22 writing these songs. That's truly insane.
I fucking love manchester

Great upload! I went back to the Transmissions page and it's no longer up. I just discovered these guys...better late than never, I suppose. This reminds me of some early Radiohead, ca. The Bends.

Jeremiah going ape-shit on the drums! Dude wasn’t playing around!

@@Bacoprah Jeremiah Edmond is the drummer in this video. He left the band years ago. Tim Very is the current drummer.
Nice

@stormincrum I wish I knew, I have Paistes, but they just don't have that sound, and I love that sound (Although, I love the sound of mine too)
@Brownieofthunder

pretty good
1:44 amazing
@barimaphone
I think he runs a reason set up, or something similar, It looks like more of a midi controller than a Synth
i freaking love this shit
@nachosilvestre they are..... and a combo of the giant beats.
wow...
@barimaphone ironicly they were on a commercial for wrestling
@AbuseAccess all of manchester orchestra is in it. Its Kevin Devine+Man Orch.
DUAL DRUMSET SOLO. :OOOOOOOO
The Holy Trinity: Andy Hull, Jesse Lacey, and Kevin Devine.
@teuriko It adds more body to the sound. Layering is a very common technique.
I love his hat! Go Indians!
i think i just found my new favourite band
@lespaulnasty31
He was born in 1979 so that would make him 31 years old.

Too good! But does anybody know what the MacBook is being used for?
There's something about bands these days with beards and flannel, i.e. Thrice, Brand New, these guys etc. They make the best music!
@thejonahdoan
i thought that too!!... i thought he looked like if dave grohl and pedro, from napoleon dynamite, had baby.
yea and one of'em rocks like shit =) awesome song
does anyone know what he does with that mac? is it hooked to the synth?
@kevjones93 He really does look like Kudi but its just their drummer Chris
agreed :)
Fucking awesomee tune
that guy can "slappa da beeaass" pretty good lol
@AbuseAccess yeah he is =)
learned this song in 20 minutes
not because its all that easy but i REALLY wanted to learn it
Fucking badass.
its used to send tones to the keyboard.. add in different sounds
That drummer though. He is pretty good.
chris' setup is pretty sweet..
Fuck these guys are talented.
00:13 FLIP FLOPS! That's how much he cares.
LMFAOOOOOOOO his sandals
I liked the part where I pressed play.
@AbuseAccess bad books is ALL of manchester plus kevin devine
