  • SEAMLESS is the first solo album in all instrumental style for George Lynch. In his recent interviews, George has been talking about getting his inspiration from variety of equipments. SEAMLESS record is no exception. There are some phrases which he could pull out only by fiddling the effects, amps and guitars.
In the two part videos, George introduces you those gear, the source of his musical inspiration.

George is a hard rock & metal LEGEND! His lyrical and melodic guitar work with Dokken was masterclass! One of the best hard rock/metal guitarists ever. Easily in the 'top 5'.

I was 16 in 1984 so I am a product of that time period. You still had all the greats from the 70's like Gilmour and Page and Blackmore, and of course EVH, but the guy that made me pick up a guitar was Lynch. He had it all. The solid rhythm guitar with a searing lead tone, the awesome riffs, the heavy vibe and that mojo that many lacked.

    • @phillamoore157

It's interesting you say that, because all you have to do is listen to 5sec of someone's playing to know if they grew up in the late 70's, and 80's. If you're a passionate guitar player and have those players as your influence, then chances are you're a stellar player. And, they're getting harder and harder to find, unfortunately.... Lynch, Schon, EVH, DiMartini, Meniketti... That's all a grown boy needs (well, that and a Marshall) 🤘🎸

And he was still only third place in LA. Then Yngwie came along

George Lynch has been a big fan since the Dokken era. We design and produce the guitar by ourselves, and we are delighted and impressed by the unique guitar playing method and the sound that the riff is unbearable and grabs the heart. The studio at home is also fully equipped and is a great genius guitarist. George Lynch's Mr.scray's favorite song! Please continue to perform wonderful songs. I'm supporting you. Hi George, I grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. We most likely share some mutual friends. I'm watching as I write this. Very enjoyable. I believe I saw you playing at The Woodsound in Monrovia back in the late seventies/early eighties. I remember you sounding really good back then. As I remember, you were blowing through a Musicman stack. I think I saw you in the band "Wolfgang" also (please correct me if I'm wrong) at M.S.A.C. College. Anyway, kudos to you for all your accomplishments and for being a great player.

There is only 1 guy that sounds like George, and that is George. Totally original. There is something mystical about his playing, the fire and the angst he can bring to the instrument. Such expressiveness, it is insane. George could pick up a Hello Kitty guitar and it would still sound like him. I used to tell me wife "If George has breasts, I would have married him instead of you". Of course that didn't go over well, and we are currently divorced... LOL
At times, Warren Dimartini sounds a little like George, but I think it is mainly the, as George termed it in an interview "jack-off vibrato". LOL. I would be interested to know their history and where/when/how they crossed paths. There is a story in there, I am sure....
Did anyone else hate Ozzy for the way he and Sharon treated George when he went on the road with Ozzy as the new guitarist, that never happened? I know I did. I mean, I still love Ozzy, but as a person, for both him and Sharon, I lost total respect. Love the music, dislike the persons....

I've always been very curious as to how that would've sounded. I doubt they would've lasted very long togther (probably about as long as Jake did), but i think it would've been great. You'd get the darker side of George's playing. Which is always a good thing. Back For The Attack era Lynch playing with Ozzy would've been amazing!
However, then we would've been deprived of Jake's best work and deprived of Dokken which are two things the world is much better off for having existed.
