    I absolutely adored the Time of legends trilogy for Nagash and Neferata, by far my favourites of the series

      @@GrimDarkNarrator The Sigmar one were fantastic, it was good to hear about the Empire's founding and earliest days

    I was looking forward to the vampires and tomb kings. As they always seem cool can't wait too see more about them.

    Wasn't Nagash the firstborn but wasn't allowed to rule because they gave their firstborn 'to the gods' so he became a priest instead and his younger brother became king? That's how I remember it from the novels anyway.
    Also, Neferata is bae!

    • @GrimDarkNarrator
      @GrimDarkNarrator  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, that's more or less how I described it too. Because he was a firstborn, he became a priest of the Mortuary Cult. And Neferata was probably more bae when when she was Neferatem and not a bloodsucking fiend :D

      Nagash's sister in law is Neferata's aunt (They prior know as Queen of Sun/Khemri/embodiment of Gods contract & Queen of Moon/Lahmia.). Nagash desire both the throne & his sister in law (but later he destroyed her body completely to disconnect the gods' power with the land to secure his victory.).

    Its kinda funny how nagash looks like Imhotep and was a treacherous high priest of an Egyptian like nation lol

      In novel, they were live at Egyptian Federation like nations. Nagash's sister in law is Vampire Queen's aunt (They know as Queen of Sun/embodiment of Gods contract & Queen of Moon.).

    • @GrimDarkNarrator
      @GrimDarkNarrator  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kevinkocher9347 Probably means the classical vampire voice, as in the old vampire movies.

      @@GrimDarkNarrator My thought was for total war warhammer 2 which was releasing a lot of vampire counts content. And turns out last year they did drop a Vlad Von Carstein vampire wars campaign. This at the time of my previous comment I did not know. And yes your voice is awesome for the characters of the old world of warhammer.

    How about the origin of the ghouls from Warhammer fantasy I'm curious about that

    What are the differences between a tomb kings faction necromancer and a vampire count necromancer like Nagash and Heinrich Kemmler? Can tomb king necromancer create new undeads or they just call forth from the existing stock?

    • @GrimDarkNarrator
      @GrimDarkNarrator  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Tomb Kings, to my knowledge, don't go around raising the (freshly) dead like the Vampire Counts do. The armies of the Tomb Kings are pretty much their former soldiers from the good old days of Nehekhara. Its just that they're dead now. They usually call from existing stock. Also their heavier units like necrosphinxes and hierotitans and whatnot are actually magic constructs and not undead creatures.

    I thought the Black Library history of Neferata was canon.

      To be honest, GW is fairly infamous for retconning its old lore in newer publications.
