- It's been a long while I know. But I've decided to get back on the kit again. And I wanted to start doing some fun stuff. Long story short, I was in a band, things fell through and I lost all motivation for music and drumming in general and I didn't touch them for nearly 3 years. I've slowly gotten the itch to get back on it again. And I'm going to start doing a lot more covers so if there is something you would like me to do, leave a comment below, this video was the first time back on a kit in 3 years. I definitely don't have the skills I once did. But I'm working at it again. But hope you enjoy!

Well done dude! I struggle sometimes to keep the pattern right while playing this on guitar lol...I couldn't imagine keeping the pattern on kicks while throwing all the extra stuff overtop of that on drums. Keep up the good work!
Bands will come and go. Try not to let the disappointments kill your passion for playing music. This is not an easy song to play and you killed it. Keep it up!
I know that now, it's more because my last band was quite successful for what it was and we had a huge opportunity. But then ego's kicked in and that's what tore the band apart. But thank you, I love this song so much.
@@nohanddrums I hear ya. Similar situation when I was younger as well. Wasn't egos for us so much as just being young and unable to communicate like adults lol. Literally years of work fell apart about a month before management/showcasing for labels etc. Oh well, live and learn! For what it's worth, doing covers is what helped me get back on track with finding enjoyment in playing again. Have fun with it!
@@bdamotta Yeah ours was a combination of miscomms and ego's and when money came into the picture that's when it really got ugly and everyone started acting like we were some huge band when we weren't, we just came up out of nowhere really quickly and died just as quickly as we got some small fame in Aus.

I did not even notice your "condition" before halfway through the video when I was already amazed, and then my jaw dropped. Dude this is one of my favourite drum parts from any Devin songs, you did bloody amazing, I sent it to Devin, hopefuly he will see it. Cheers
