I got a neighbor whos been in the merchant mariners since 87'. He said that now adays when your running the risky routes. They have military on board locked and loaded just incase of pirates. Theyre authorized for warning shots and if the boats still pursue, they able to open fire to keep the crew safe.

@@okaydetar821little late but he’s referring to the plot of Far Cry 3, where the protagonist skydives over the rook islands and gets kidnapped by pirates.
Needs to watch that other doc directly interviewing pirates and the community theyr from, gives you a lot of perspective. Unlike this where you can shut your brain off going ''pirates evil, bad bad bad, not people''
